The job number is also written on cars, so you can couple to them even before taking that job 😋

The official instructions both in the game and in reality say to close both valves before uncoupling brake hose. But I close only the one on the side of locomotive before and the second one after uncoupling the hose or even after uncoupling the chain. This way I am sure that the cars I leave have brakes on 🙂
By the way, real instructions require to blow the hoses before coupling them by opening the valves for a brief moment.

Getting the switches aligned, I like to use the rule from real railways - start from your destination track and move towards the locomotive. This way I don't forget to change any switch and don't need to aim with the remote in movement 🙂
