The allstargame is never what it used to be. And will never be again. It's an All star break game. It's a long season they need the break. Fans want a break we all want a break. The media should take a break. 😂
MLB All-Star game is not only the last one left where players try, it’s nearly the only one left period.
NHL’s moving away from it, the NFL has a flag football game, and the NBA has ceased to be at all an actual basketball game.
Playing for WS homefield advantage in the ASG was a terrible idea. Glad that stipulation no longer exists.

@@ogkageIf the League that wins the All-Star Game gets WS home-field advantage, you take away teams incentives to win as many games possible in the Regular Season. Before that rule, and now after it, if the WS representative in the AL only had 95 wins in the Regular Season, but the NL team had 96, the NL team got home field advantage for having the better Regular Season. (Either that or they flip flopped each year which League received home field for a Game 6 and 7., which was also fair).
