How to make a Five-wing Propeller

- I filmed the process of making a Whirligig Propeller with Five Wings for tutorial purpose. The four winged propeller can be made from Lumber, but a five winged requires a Disc. I hope the whole production process will be helpful.

Your method of cutting out the slots in the hubs with a band saw seems to work very well. I use a table saw to accomplish the same thing.
Thank you ! I couldn't use the table saw, so I worked with a band saw instead. However, since the band saw blade is thin, it is more troublesome to match the thickness of the wings.
Thank you Hans I’ve been cutting all the blades out at once I nail the pieces together then cut them all at once but it is a pain. I’m so happy to see you cut the blades separately. Do you think I should try that or wait until I have more precision in my cutting lol Thank you for the video
When making a blade hub, i designed jig and used it, and it was very convenient to work.

It is possible to make a blade hub with a band saw without a table saw. Thank you for finding my video helpful.

Make Four blade is more easier than Five blade.
Is hard?
Honestly, it's not that easy. But if you can make a jig, you can make it more easy.

do you have patterns or templets for these ??
Sorry for the late reply. The template doesn't matter as long as you know the center wheel and blade size. However, a specially designed jig is required to machine the wheel that holds the blade.
