You are NAILING this job dude!
I didn’t think I’d like anyone else because Kyle is the MAN of course, but you are excellent at this job! Well done! 👍🇬🇧Brian.
Thanks Brian! I really appreciate all the support you are bringing to the new hosts and to myself. It means a lot to me. Have an awesome week, my friend!
@@Karatemart no problem bud! Cheers!👍🇬🇧
It was the throwing star before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was securing because I threw shurikens at the mice, hehehehehehe!!
😂 haha love it -DJ
The kunai is a traditional multi purpose knife with reasonable balance for throwing. The others are just what they say they are, throwers. It's the Grumpy Guy's opinion that if you want a multi purpose thrower pick up the kunai. And if you want a festive gift for Christmas I suggest the Toxic Kunai Throwing Knife set also found at KarateMart. Very similar to the Black Kunai and are sparkly and colorful.
I have this black set and the Green Starbolt set. I, and my kid, really like throwing these. Like we discussed in the Live Chat, the Kunai work really well with the No-Spin Throw Technique. KarateMart has a book on all the throwing techniques, wich is really good.
And Kyle, if you read this.... just to let you know, this is Barter. My 11 year old is sharing the account and changed the name.
Also, thanks for the Holiday sale you had. I would love to see a few more throughout the year. Times are tough right now, and that could really help some of us out. Financial times as they are, that didn't stop me from spoiling myself. When my packages arrived from Karatemart and Kombativ, we, as a family, tore through the packaging with great excitement. Upon opening the packages, we admired and played with our new-found cache for about an hour. We then quickly claimed our favorites and stowed them away in our own corners of the house for quick access when those urges to play with them, or to just admire the beauty of them overcomes us.
The multi use is so valuable
I'm a big fan of tomahawk, but. Given the choices, the kunis.
Excellent choice, my friend! I hope you are having an awesome week!
I have that set of kunai, and others as well, and as a knife thrower, I practice with them often. The cards, although aesthetically cool, are better for throwing at objects you want to knock down, rather than things you want to stick them into. Think soft drink cans, and throw with a "Thurston" (magician style) throw, for a satisfying "KLINK!" Stars of course, are the easiest and most reliable. I have some of the various batwing throwers as well, and sometimes they stick, and sometimes not, which is a net negative for me. I'm best at throwing knives, so I like to stick to that.
Awesome! I hope you have an excellent weekend, my friend!
You could modify the kunai into rope darts, which would be awesome. I grew up with throwing stars. The majority were 4 points for better penetration. The bat wings are cool. Those cards are inconspicuous weapons, probably meant more for cutting. I probably would have gotten into trouble with those.
Thanks so much for watching, Bruce! I hope you are having an awesome week!
Throwing stars are considered prohibited offensive weapons in Pennsylvania. Cards unclear
I’m glad you are aware of your local laws. Thanks so much for watching!
Kunai is number one for me, then the throwing stars, batwings comes next.
Solid order. Can’t complain -DJ
All of these weapons are used by popular characters
Batarang (Bruce Wayne)
Shuriken (Genji Shimada)
Kunai (Hanzo Hashashi)
Cards (Remi Lebeau)
That’s so true, Gary! I hope you are having an awesome week, my friend!
Bro you're absolutely killing it out here my man.. lovin this DJ let's go 👊💯
Really glad you like it. Even better things to come! -DJ
Thanks so much for your support, my friend! DJ is doing an awesome job!
Thanks for another great Weapons Wednesday!
I'm going to go in two different directions with this one. On the poll, I'm going to vote for the best throwing weapon from the point of view of what I think is the best overall throwing weapon. In this comment, I'm going to pick the best overall, multipurpose weapon.
In the best overall weapon category, I'm going to pick the Black Kunai Throwing Knife. If someone makes a perfect throw, I think this knife would have the most stopping power to prevent an attack. I don't remember the exact weights of all of these weapons, but I'd guess that this one is the heaviest. Anyone should be able to throw any of these with good velocity, so being the heaviest doesn't mean that this one would throw the slowest. That weight would lead to greater penetration, and penetration can increase stopping power. I've never tried this, but I also suspect that one could tie a small ribbon to the back of a kunai and get a straighter flight and easier sticking into a target when making no-spin throws. On top of the throwing value, the kunai could be used as regular daggers to be held in the hand as you demonstrated. The kunai could also be fastened to the end of a straight stick and turned into a spear point. In a survival situation, that's the first thing I would do with one of these knives. I could then throw the spear or use the spear for thrusting and cutting. One could take a rock and grind a backwards-pointing notch in the kunai spear. That would make this spear more effective for spearing fish. The stainless steel construction would make these knives more resistant to corrosion in a survival application. They could also be driven into logs or possibly even the ground to use like tent stakes to secure one end of a cord. If someone is going to buy a throwing weapon to include in a bug-out pack, the Black Kunai Throwing Knife set is the easy choice.
For my second choice as best overall weapon, I'm going to pick the 5 Point Silver Throwing Star. I'm skeptical that a throwing star is going to stop an attacker very often, but of the remaining three, I think it would be the most effective just because the attacker would be facing five sharp points that are rotating towards him (or even her). A quick flick of one wrist while the attacker is looking at last week's baton or the short tactical naginata could send one of these at the attacker's face. Even of the star didn't do much damage, the possibility of being hit at any moment by a star could be a distraction. If one were in a survival situation, the star would probably be the easiest of these to use to hunt squirrels or rabbits. I could even see attaching one to the end of a stick to create a kind of crude impact and cutting weapon.
My third choice would be the Bat Wing Shuriken. Again, I don't expect this weapon to have much stopping power by itself. However, the long, sharp blades could cause cuts if they hit skin even if the point didn't stick into an attacker's body. Again, a flick of the wrist could send one of these into an attacker who was also facing the Dark Shogun Wakizashi in the defender's other hand. With a little practice, a desperate person in a survival situation could hunt rabbit or squirrel with one of these better than he or she could with the playing cards. However, if I have to find the weapon in the leaf litter, I'd rather be looking for the shiny five point stars than the black bats. Attaching one of these to a stick would seem more difficult, but it might not be impossible.
My fourth choice would be the Blackjack Throwing Cards. I think that these would be very difficult to use as a weapon. They have a high cool factor, but I hope that I'd never have to use one as a weapon.
Excellent breakdown of the weapons, my friend! I hope you are having a fantastic week!
Thank you for another great video I liked all the throwing weapons , they all looked cool
Thanks Kevin! I really appreciate your support, my friend!
That park looks like one of my locals.
It’s great. Right behind the martial arts school I teach at. -DJ
Throwing stars for sure but I'd still take the ninja stars now that I'm in the wheelchair
Thanks so much for watching, Warren! I really appreciate it!
I picked the throwing stars.
Just well easy of throw and pretty much guaranteed a stick.
Good job.
Have a great week.
Thank you! Glad you liked it. Hope you have a great week too. -DJ
Thanks Kyle! I hope you are having an awesome week, my friend!

@@Karatemart I do have a few fans it's true, and I would have done my best. However DJ definitely has the right energy & vibes for the channel. The people chose & I agree he's a great choice.
Happy for him & everyone at Karate Mart!
Might be the Kunai for me 🔥🔥
Excellent choice, Stiles! I hope you are having a wonderful week, my talented friend!
@@Karatemartyou too thanks.
Dig the cards. Kunai are multifunctional. Not gonna talk about guano man's toys. Silver stars are my pick...though in all honesty, if it ain't a Spear or Axe, I can't throw worth the shite. Fight scene is fun, sure. Oh, Joker is the cards. 🤪..well done Lad, keep up the good work. Til next time. Cheers Kyle . Dia Duit ☘️
Thanks Shawn! I agree man…DJ is doing an excellent job! Cheers, my friend!
❤

Thanks Juan! I really appreciate your support!
Batman, Daredevil, Modern Ninja, Gambit, your not a mutant only Gambit. So I pick Modern Ninja Black Kunai Throwing Knife
Excellent choice, Alan! I hope you are having a fantastic week, my friend!
Nice throwing weapon.
3:02, But don't any of you
slide your hand along the
blade to check for sharpness,
lightly run your finger
perpendicular or across the
blade, never inline with it.
This guy is a paid professional,
he can get away with it,
we can't.
Excellent point! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
