Great format super informative, I’m about to start mine sharing my family research and tips. I already engage in a lot of groups for research assistance. How do you recommend I get them to follow my group?
Hi Christopher - I'm so glad you found it helpful! Really, only bring up your group in another group if it falls within the rules of "self promotion" within that group. And you might want to ask the moderator(s) for permission in advance, which they'd appreciate. That might limit which groups you promote your own group in, but you want to maintain a good relationship and good standing -- that comes first. :-) I hope that helps!

I don’t have business page fans. What I’m trying to do is recruit members of other groups with the same target audience. What exactly do I say to them that they will join my group?
Thanks for asking! First, make sure your business page provides value through educating, inspiring, or entertaining (or a combination). Then tell your prospective page followers what they can expect (i.e. what they'll benefit from) by following your page.
Do you know by any chance how to add a Join link to a post about your group?
Thanks so much for asking! Simply copy and paste the URL of the group (the URL you see at the top of your browser when you're on your group's page) into the post. When I tested this on Facebook, the automatic graphic that pops up says "sign in" to LinkedIn, which isn't very attractive, but when you click on the link, it will still direct you to the group. If you have to sign into LinkedIn first after you click on the link, you'll still be directed to the group immediately after signing in. (If you're posting this on LinkedIn, this problem doesn't occur.) If you want to make your post look even nicer and stand out more, include a graphic in the post and then just have the link for people to click in the caption. I hope that makes sense! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

How many members needed to for group name in search results???
Thanks for asking this! I'm not sure if the number of members matters. It's most important to optimize the group name and description with keywords/keyword phrases that can be picked up in a search. I hope this helps!
Can we add some tags in description of group????
You can add tags to the description (I'm assuming you're talking about hashtags?), and if you do so, I recommend adding them at the very bottom. People don't need to see the tags...just Facebook. Keep in mind that hashtags aren't really used on Facebook like they are on other social media sites like Instagram or Twitter. So they may not be as useful as one might suspect. Keywords without a hashtag symbol in front are likely just as useful on Facebook as those with the hashtag symbol. Best of luck!
Damn I made a whole group but made it Private I want a group that people have to pay to join so iono how to go about that
Thanks for asking! I've never set up a subscription-based group, but according to FB, if you want to do any type of "Fan Subscriptions" as they call it (including a subscription-based group), here are the criteria copied straight from FB:
Eligibility
10,000 Followers
OR
250 returning viewers
AND
50,000 post engagements
OR
180,000 minutes viewed
Once you're eligible, you'll be able to able to get things rolling through FB/Meta Creator Studio. I hope that helps!

Totally depends on the group you've formed. If you feel you can still grow the group while it's in private mode (and if you already have enough group members who are enjoying being in the group), then certainly continue it. It's a judgment call, though. If your group is very small/inactive, you could always start over with a public group.
this is for people who have a business. What if I don't have a business?
Thanks for asking! There are still some things you can do:
- Optimize the group name and description
- Cross promote on your other social media channels
- Invite your FB friends (rather than page followers) to join the group
- Share in other groups when allowed, following those groups' rules
- Ask group members to invite their friends

Hi Medhi! First of all, congratulations on reaching 10K members! I know that FB used to place restrictions on groups with more than 5K members, but I'm not sure if that's still the case, or if now FB is implementing restrictions for 10K+ members. Sorry I can't help you more!
How to add group (name) tags?????
Here are the directions. Let me know how it goes!
- Go to your group and click on Settings in the left column admin menu.
- Then look for Tags in the main part of the next screen. That's where you can add tags.

I do understand how hard it is understand another language when someone is speaking quickly, and I do tend to speak quickly. If I try to speak more slowly, I don't come across as natural, so I choose to continue at my authentic fast speed. :-) That said, you have two options: (1) turn on closed captions, which I provide which each video, or (2) watch another channel where they speak more slowly. I completely understand if you choose to watch other channels. I'm honored that you at least checked out this channel. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for the suggestion, Niklas! Some people like the fast talking because it saves time, and others don't like it, and I've resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to please everyone. :-) Personally, if I speak any more slowly, I sound unnatural, and I want to stay authentic. There are plenty of other channels where they speak more slowly, so there's something out there for everyone. Thank you again!
