T-Man Performance - Our New Fully Welded Ports

  • This is the introduction to our new fully welded exhaust ports. We have already released some of these to our dealers and the feedback has been excellent - they reported better torque and horsepower numbers. Delivering a consistent port time and time again. In doing so, it helps with the port velocity, our flow numbers and everything across the board. Check our Facebook page for updates on the data for these new ports.

    Brandon at T-Man has been very helpful on my build. Helped me select a lot of things that would work together and didn't try to sell me anything. That's hard to find these days. I looked around a long time and I have never heard or read anything bad about these guys. Get your stuff done at T-man and sleep easy at night. It runs good and if you have questions they will talk to you even after they have your money.
    Based on my experience Branch Okeefe wasn't even a consideration. They don't answer phones or emails and the website is not good either. They may be great but I could never get anyone to talk to me, email, and there's no info on their site. Three strikes.

    Tman heads straight up run. I recently completed my 2001 Fatboy 107 with Tman Pro Touring Elite Kit. The heads looked amazing. Against Tmans advice, I kept my VH longshots but welded in a crossover as a compromise. Darkhorse Man o War stroker bottom end, SS cam plate and pump, bigger throttle body and injectors and other stuff. Tried a dealer tune with my existing Power Commander 5. Complete failure. Had C&S in St. Louis tune it with a TTS tuner. Runs awesome. 119HP and 124 TQ. The 590 cam is really good all around. Tman says a D&D pipe would add another 10 HP and TQ but I'm good for now and the look and sound is superior to any 2 into 1 for my taste. To each his own.
    Also, be ready to beef up your clutch. I added a Barnett extra plate clutch pack and AIM VP clutch only to smoke it after 1500 miles. Going Rekluse Torq Drive with 340# Spring along with the AIM VP add on and an Evolution basket.
    2ndly, Make sure you add compression releases. They are a must and only $100 to add.

    TR's father Tom Reiser was friends with Jerry Branch back in the day. Tom used to tell me Jerry definitely knew how to port and polish heads.
