    Nice video. I bought a Wilbers 640 for my Speed Triple and it made a huge difference. Enjoy your suspension!

    I was hoping you would have done the fork work yourself as I needed some visual advice. But alas you sent it out. :(.

      @@Preuling Thank you very much. May I ask one thing. How to unscrewing nut bottom side on swingarm? I try but can’t to remove it.

    Did this create more travel on the suspension, or was this to make it more adjustable to your preference?

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 6 lety +1

      Hi avianmotors, the travel remains at its 150mm which is quite few. An increase of the travel would be a much heavier (unpredictable) impact on the characteristics. The Desert Sled has 200mm now.

    How was the bottoming resistance with the forks after the install? Also would you recommend the Andreani fork? I took mine on some trails and it was pretty harsh, I will mostly do backroads with mine but it would be nice to have a little more confidence in the front end.

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 5 lety

      Hi, with the kit you can tickle more out of the given spring travel thanks to the many adjustment possibilities. But it's not cheap and quite an effort to install it. I went for the Desert Sled later which has +50mm travel.

      @@Preuling Andreani cartridge is for Road not Off Road, you went wrong. Nix 30 ist for Off Road. Thats why you changed your Bike.

    Hi Sir, this might be a little late, but do you recall that how many clicks (or full revolution/turns) you were getting from the compress and rebound adjustment screws? Thanks!

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 4 lety

      Oh man, don't remember. Must have been somewhat around 20 clicks between soft and hard...

      @@Preuling Thanks a lot! I'm about to swap my original forks to a 2nd hand completed forks, this would be a really good reference when adjusting the fork.
      The preload screw looks uncomfortably close to the handlebar/speedometer clamp on the right side though..

    Hello, do I need to buy new wormscrew when installing the LH damper rod of Andraeani kit once it's been drilled out?

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 2 lety

      Stub and Fork leg should be secured again, a new thread must be cut again for this

    Hi. Some people (cheap skaters) cut the plastic spacer 1.2 cm in the fork and change the fork oil with thinner one. Do you think this mod give good suspension for light off road riding?

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 6 lety +1

      The lower preload increases sag and the thinner oil improves the response characteristics. The factory fork already has litte progression, so tougher tracks will lead to even harderbottoming. Perhaps try thinner oil first and see how it is...

      Preuling thanks for your reply. It sounds like Andreani cartridge is the best solution.

    hi , do you need the tool to remove the stanchion on the lh leg , can you remove grub screw , then heat bottom leg to release the locktite and pull it apart , or do you need the tool

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 8 lety

      You will need the tool for both, disassembly and assembly. Info there may be helpful: www.ducatiscramblerforum.com/forum/wheels-tires-suspension/26514-left-front-fork-disassembly-questions-andreani-cartridge-install.html

    • @Preuling
      @Preuling  Před 8 lety

      My Wilbers 630 has the 115-150 spring (av. weight of myself without gear is 80kg). Setting is 10mm spring preload and 12 clicks damping (rebound).
