You must walk double the mileage showing us all your incoming/outgoing hiking! The amount of work and effort you put into each video does not go unnoticed. Thank you. I also liked your owl story. I love it when I can hear a visiting owl or two at night. 🦉
Kent Survival, Outdoor boys, Age of North, Mav are also some other amazing camping channels just like this.
Once again I am on chemo, but thankfully I have a new video from Luke to watch. Cheers dude.👍
I don't know you but I will keep you in my prayers
Thank you for your kind note. Prayers are always appreciated. 🤙
Me too....prayers for you and your family. We must stick together!!
Thank you very much. It’s been tough road, ever since coming out of a chemically induced coma back in 2010.
@@ReasontoLiveAdventureswow u definitely going through hardship all the best to you.
Luke is so experienced and just dialed into this lifestyle. It's fun to watch his adventures and I learn something new, literally, from every video. Lone Wolf Mountain is very beautiful country to spend time in. The gear reviews are an added bonus while watching the camping 🏕.
I always use a shield on my stove setups, glad to see a channel that does as well. Good job on the video. 👍
I love the wind in the trees!! Thank you so much for what you do for so many that can’t go anymore!👍🏽
Luke, I have to say that you have more cajones than most hiking/camping/gear testers on CZcams. My hat is off to you!!!
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Dayton Ohio in the house.. Keep doing what you do Luke, you are an inspiration to people that cannot get out and do that
Couldn’t agree more. Uk 🇬🇧
There's a Waffle House right between the Base and the Meijer's there. It had an armed security officer overnight on the weekends because it got rowdy. A guy came into the Waffle House, sat down and ate a Waffle sandwich 🥪 😋 and then bolted out the door without paying. The security guy tried chasing him and actually fired a shot in the air to try to get the guy to stop. The guy heard the shot, thought he was being fired on so he drew his concealed carry pistol, spun around, and mag dumped the security guy. The security mag dumped return fire in turn. Wright Patterson Air Force Base thought it was a terrorist attack on the Base so they scrambled their Response Team (SWAT?) and all of their Military Police 🚔. Meanwhile, local Police, Sheriff's, State Troopers, and basically everyone on duty also responded code 3. Everyone in the Waffle House was watching the show as the area was overrun with first responders and even helicopters. Both of these guys mag dumped each other in the middle of the road, and neither one scored a single hit. They both went to jail. True story. Shout out to Wright Patterson Air Force Base!!!!
Nothing better than getting a coffee for bed and relising there’s a new video from Luke
I think it will snow for your next adventure.
This was a wonderful video. I love your photography at the end of the video. that tiny little owl was amazing.
Thank you for taking us along with you. I miss camping, I don’t think my old bones would like sleeping on the ground. And my new knees, Do not like anything touching them. Like the ground. So to get my camping fix, I watch your videos. So again, thank you for taking us along.
Kathy
That moment with the paper towel diffuser was videographer gold. And a subtle homage to improvising. And it made a massive difference. I assume it’s LED so no chance of burning. Nice job Luke.
Luke is amazing. I really appreciate him and the information that he provides for outdoor activities... I get scared for him sometimes, but I know he can handle himself....so much happens in those mountains...
I wonder what that food company means by cottage and shepherd's pie in the same package. Here in the uk Shepherd's pie is made with lamb and cottage pie is made with beef. Good video luke ❤❤
True maybe it has both.
LMAO i came here to say that . thats some hybrid animal right there
My immediate first thought as I saw it, was fuming to myself 🤣
What ever you do don't buy S-Pie from Wal-Mart. Three bites and it went in the trash. Totally disgusting. @@JamieK-G
@janinepyke oh I didn't know it had different names for different meat in it!!
Loved seeing your Eastern Screech Owl picture. Lucky you!
I was a Boy Scout in the 1960s we were at summer camp at camp Sabattus in New York and I was making pancakes that morning on an open fire and next thing I know I heard the scoutmaster saying Frank duck your head and I did and this white tail deer cleared the fire pit and me cooking pancakes, followed by two other ones including a fun. It was very interesting.
I do actually remember the dear passing by your camp. I have one Little own story. It was just minding its own business in a ruin. But the thing that makes me laugh, is the UK’s Little owl, has a really Grumpy look. 👀 makes me laugh, if I’m lucky enough too spot one. They are small hence the name and they blend in so well. 😂😂❤❤❤🇬🇧🤷♀️🙏🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸
I love nature . The owl story is awesome. Love your videos. God bless you and keep you safe.
One of the more enjoyable outings, and it is especially nice to see you use so many of the newer items that have been featured by you this Winter. Thank you as always, and my hiking storeroom thanks you as well for all the great ideas/items shared with us,
"Green Forest "Very Beautiful and the colors, scenery Perfect!!! Snow was the icing of everything Stay Safe and Healthy ALOHA From Hawaii ❤❤❤❤
Gorgeous camp spot Luke nicely tucked in amongst the trees with your set up. Thanks for sharing your camp out always enjoyed .
Thanks for showing me a great trip. I especially liked the story of the owl n deer. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in the western Canadian oil patch. Where we get off the highway and see things that no one else is lucky enough to. I’ve had ravens sit on my truck mirror, wondering what I’m having for lunch. Moose stick her head into the window and ask me to turn the page, cuz I’m reading to slow a wolf that I’ve known for 6 years,a little lake that I get water from every winter. He will make a path in the snow, just to show me things I would have missed. First flowers of the year, little beaver dam.every year I just have to think that he’s glad to see me again
Hey Luke, what a gorgeous area for your overnighter, really love that forrest! Thank you for sharing your frosty adventures…S&H 🇺🇸
Thank You Luke For Sharing Adventure Walk Out Safely And Get Home To Suzie Safe
I love this forest! Thank you so much for sharing this adventure!
Snow on the ground but everything is still so green, Beautiful scenery Thank you for sharing with us.
Yep. Talking about falling trees…. People seem to think widow-makers are only trees that are dead that come down. But they can easily be perfectly healthy live trees too. I’ve seen massive live pine trees in Colorado that have been snapped in half due to microbursts/sheer winds, etc. And these tree s were massive. Easily 3-4’ in diameter. It’s important to consider the lean of the trees you choose to set up near. And even that is no guarantee. But helps your odds of not being crushed. Stay safe out there everyone.
Watching from Australia 🇦🇺. It is summer here and the snow makes me feel a little bit cooler. Bring on winter ❄️ please. 😊
luke keeps it real all day every day, appreciate the mixed coffee cuz we all have packets laying around begging to be made into a delicious concoction
LOVE the compact camp light tripod....that would have many uses even at home. That was SMART to use the air pump as a fire bellows🤣
Luke a couple years ago when you was hiking in the AT. You showed an owl that followed you through the whole trail in and coming out remember that?? What’s with you and the owls. Pretty cool though
Shepherd's Cottage pie?? Packit Gourmet clearly doesn't know that Shepherd's pie contains lamb and Cottage pie has beef.
It might contain both
You’re the King of camping gadgets!
Welcome to the CZcams Family Bernie and Bolly ❤🥰🐾❤🥰🐾🙏
I hope your well, and I so enjoy your videos now then before! Thanks!
Thanks for making your videos brother, I truly appreciate all your work that goes into making them. I learn something new everytime I watch one.
Thanks for the video, I really needed a Luke fix tonight.👍
Another great video, Lee of Buxton England...
Yessir that fire build was smooth! I like your routine of tarp separate from tent.
I love owls and that was a great capper to the video.
You have the greatest experiences. Thanks for sharing. Love seeing the snow. It’s been a lackluster Winter here.
Cool owl story! Cute little guy.
I love watching all of your shows
Hi Luke I love your videos, my son's name is Luke and I also call him Lucas from time to time,I suffer with chronic pain and I'm waiting to see a rheumatologist,I can't go for walks at the moment but when I watch your videos I really feel like I'm there out in nature which is my favourite place to be, hopefully soon, I live in county Wexford in Ireland and I'm surrounded by forests it's so beautiful, thank you for tranquility and peace 😊
Nice seeing you again, God Bless.
Nice video Luke. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Luke, I really enjoyed this trip. You are my entertainment for the night. Thank you so much. See you next week. Take care, tell Susie I said hi. 😊🙋🏻♀️
hopefully we’ll see you down the road. Thank you for sharing your video.
I watch a lot of these camping videos, keen as I am on the outdoors here in Australia, but I have to say yours are the best mate. You’ve a great articulate style, your videos are inspiring and educational, and very entertaining. Stay safe and keep doing what you’re doing . Love it!
Love your style great gear, awsome what your wearing great color coordination awesome video's always.
I love the little owl story!! I love seeing one sooo small. 😅😅
Yourself, Haze outdoors and TA outdoors. Best 3 camping/ bushcraft channels on CZcams. 👍
Thanks Luke get a look at that tent it's the bomb...4 season! So yea purchased my four season tent finally after great thought and research. Settled on the Kuiu storm star. Great price and value. Customer service is very good. Satisfied all my needs and should be great service throughout years to come.
I’ve had a flextailgear pump for quite a few years now, mine has a light on it but it’s not a battery bank. I can’t fault it, it’s one of my always taken bits of “luxury gear”. Always tempted by each upgrade but still got my old one. Charge it up once every 3 or 4 weekends out but I have a battery bank anyhow just in case. Sure beats blowing into an airbed and always good to have light options. Keep up the good work Luke, love to the family
Thank you Luke,, I sure enjoyed this video...
Surprised to actually see a fire in the episode.... nice 😎👍🔥🔥🔥
I would love to see you test different fire starting gear especially in the environment you are in 😎👍🔥
Freakish snow storm hit here last night dumping 3-4 inches of which 50% has melted already, the good ol' high desert. We have three kinds of Owls here, Burrowing, Barn and Great Horned..never know when they'll grace you with their presence. Tarp/tent scenario..cracks me up. Nice video and presentation, thanks.
Hi, I am new to the channel and I want to say a big thank you Luke. I have watched a couple of your videos and I love them , I love been outdoors. I have alit of catching up to do with your adventures. Thank you for bringing them to us. 😊
Nice 👍 Pole lamp and another good 👍 video
Hi Luke! Thanks for sharing that neat adventure! SO stoked you had your owl encounter! I've related in a comment for another video, how we had a little owl like that in our yard, and it was in no way afraid of us! SO COOL! That air pump and that neat stove are cool! You have to let us know what you think of them in a review episode! I have to admit that I am NOT a coffee person. BUT I did get some of the Taster's Nasty Hazlenut and the aroma is SUPER. Can't wait until the next adventure!
The owl picture had me cracking up
Another brilliant vid Luke, I'm laid up at the moment over here in England with broken ribs and a damaged hip so you're vids keep me going, keep up the fantastic work👍🏻👍🏻 take care👍🏻👍🏻
Dig the tent so far. Nice scenery to.
Awesome spot and scenery!
Nice video, love the start where you just walk with no talk :)
Hes done it again folks another amazing entertaining informational video!❤
Many thanks Luke!
thank you for the great video and audio quality
This is such a beautiful place.
Owls the symbol of wisdom Luke.
I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Great job Luke❤❤
Winter has been terrible here in northwest Louisiana as well. We have been in the 80's most of February and even hit 90 degrees a few times. I love watching your videos Luke. Getting to see snow camping trips in the mountains is awesome.
Love the new gear. 👍
I do love me some "Green Forest" adventures! Never thanked you for shouting me out from my Instagram comment last year about it being my "favorite place I never visited". Hope all is well!
Luke really enjoying your channel.been here 2 weeks.I’d love to have the time to go camping ⛺️ so until I can I’m watching you have fun. What’s your back ground Luke. Uk 🇬🇧
Love the video. It's a bit surreal that you're at 5000+ feet when the highest peak in England is around 3200 ft and the highest in the UK is around 4500 ft! It shows the vast outdoors that you're blessed with. Love the channel. Keep making the videos! 🏴🏴🇺🇸
We have a few here in New Englad that height, 5000 feet and then Mount Washington pretty equal to his Grandfather Mountain. Both are amazing. Hard to p8ck a fav. Ours are not maybe as road accessible. I noticed that when I went all over his area for three weeks about a decade ago. Allot more road access. Here the presidential are all hiking and pretty brutal terrain. Buried in snow as well. He lives 8n a more Goldie Locks climate to me atleast, especially now here in New England summers are so hot now, so more like theirs.
Luke,
Mother Earth sent you a very skillful watcher. That owl was sent to watch over your home , Mother Earth protected your home while you were away in Fla. returning her respect to you. The same way you love and respect her. It’s always the subtle little moments, when you’re able to experience, that make you feel connected.
S&H to you my friend
Really
Right away I noticed the beautiful, sharp camera shots. Very nice. A great video as usual.
The forest looks so beautiful with the snow on it
I have learned a lot from your videos thank you
Thank you Luke for the video... Tom
A Wonderful escape
Great content as always 😊
Nice luke 👌 ❤❤❤
Hahaha! When you pulled out that light and opened it. I thought you were going to set up a thumper. Ole Luke here is about to call in a sandworm. As if the incoming weather isn't enough to deal with!
I love Eastern Screech Owls! I got pretty close to one years ago, Would love to see another sometime soon!
glad to see you got a air pump
Thanks!
Sounds like the weather we've been getting in Washington State on the eastern side. Not much snow, but wind and rain. Gusts have been over 50 mph and cold! The owl you showed, looks to be an Eastern Screech Owl. We have great horned and barred owls here in Washington, and they are fun to listen to.
Lovely forest
I’m a Hazelnut coffee junkie. Iced or hot. Doesn’t matter. Nice adventure Luke!
I really enjoy your channel and videos Luke
I like to watch when I work away and I miss being in the hills even the rain & cold, plus im a kit monster - but you beat me hands down lol
Another great vid
I still think that photo at the end of the clouds you took is the best!! I would love that on my wall❤
Enjoyed the video Luke! I love the outdoors! I had an experience with an owl kinda like you did. This owl was way bigger and beautiful. It was one night in my front yard I saw him on a tree limb close to our security light. I stopped and watched him and said something to him. He looked at me and turns his head all the way around and looked at me again 😂. Kinda freaked me out but he was fun to watch.
Love your videos Luke. Curiosity though strikes me as to why you didn't tape the wind blowing in the trees and on your tent. That's s little more exciting than watching you make coffee.
Great trip again Luke. Funny though, I know what shepherd”s pie is and I know what cottage pie is, shepherd’s cottage pie is a new one 😂
God bless you and yours❤
Great video and really appreciate the change now in music !
Anyways I have been eyeing the small Flextail Gear ZERO pump. But 63 bucks now ouch. But I love ultralight stuff. Especially for my small EDC kit.
I have a Wood stove we heat with solely and the best thing I ever bought was a ZIPPO air blower. Just OMG. I was using the Pocket Bellows for a year prior. Fan on fire is a game changer seriously in so many ways, especiallyon damp wood.
A game changer just like for me a small an air mattress pump out camping was. I bought Flextail Gear's first pump they made and used it for years. I upgraded a few years ago to the bigger battery with light, bigger unit. I never use the light, lol, I love my Olite Obulb because of the red light feature and I love my mini Goal Zero Lanturn I don't even think they make the same model anymore. I got the bag lights you recommend on the strip and I love those too, and that's really enough.
With the zero I like you can replace the battery. That is another plus. I hope you tell us what you think.
Great episode Luke. I am learning the cooking & coffee stuff. I have to get away from being too much a brushline, creek ditch, edge-of-town kinda' guy looking drowsy at the local diner & coffee shop.
Love those snowy weather videos, shame we haven't had too much snow this year!
Yea Luke is very good at what he does I enjoy his vedeo
