They never give up the Italians and fully deserved this big win
It’s the end of the tournament but that should give them confidence for next year

Hats off to Josh Adams who gave his man of the match medal to Ange Capuozzo, knowing how much the moment/memory would mean to the young Italian.
Pure class.
Agreed. Would NOT see that in football....

I only saw the highlights so I didn't see that part, but I thought it was great play by Josh Adams to catch the Italian in the corner with that try saving tackle, and excellent sportsmanship to then give the guy a friendly pat rather than the typical testosterone bs we so often see. Much respect from South Africa.
Class from Josh, not so much from Dan Biggar who failed to give Italy any credit in his post match interview. Neither did Pivac or that matter. Really bad form.
As an Italian I'd love to thank everybody for a great display of sportsmanship and kindness. The comment section is full of positivity and it's delightful. Love this sport and all the beautiful people that follows it 🏉
Well said. All the best to you and yours from New Zealand.
Exactly! This is what makes rugby so different and precious. At the end of the day one's proud to be part of this world, no matter the score. An everlasting lesson. Thank you all rugby people!
Well Done you should be proud of your young team. From a Welshman
As an Irishman, it was a beautiful game to watch, considering how much it meant. Rare to see a young team silence all those crusty talking heads questioning their place.
Good luck next season .Hope you beat Wales ,France ,England and Scotland.Everybody except my native Ireland !
Great game ,great sportsmanship on both sides and
have watched the highlights 3 times now and that Capuozzo kid is dynamite!

From a Welshman. Italy fully deserved that win. Wales were simply not good enough on the day. Italy's defense was far more aggressive and Wales are still without any shape in attack. Congratulations to Italy. Italy have some quality players and that really showed today.
From an Italian. You are a true sportsman, congratulations. However, the Welsh rugby team is always stronger than the Italian one

I'm an England fan who had the pleasure of being in the crowd of this fabulous game with my old man today, one which is bound to go down in history! It was amazing! The crowd sang and clapped each others national anthems, the atmosphere was electric and supporters of opposing teams hugged each other and shook hands at the end of the game following this hugely unexpected result! We were tight, both team deserved!
What an exciting young talent Ange Capuozzo is. Not just skill wise, he seems to be mature beyond his years too - mentally sound. His run on that last play was incredible but what impressed me even more was his composure with the try line looming. Rather than looking for ‘ultimate glory’ by going hard for that corner knowing the Welsh defender was closing in, he kept his cool and made the smart play back inside. All the more impressive considering everything that was at stake in these final few minutes.
I wouldn’t go as far as to put Capuozzo right up there with the likes of Antoine Dupont and Marcus Smith in terms of rugby’s next gen superstars. But the Italian wonderkid is one of the hottest names in world rugby atm nonetheless. Doing what he does at the highest level is impressive in itself, doing it for Italy going up against the likes of Ireland and Wales makes it even more impressive tbh!
Congrats Italy🥳🏉🇳🇬 Much love from North-Korea!

My dad and I watched this on TV, and we were literally like "OH MY GOD!!!" at Ange Capuozzo's run to get that last minute try for the Italians. Fantastic game!
@Soinas Doyi I'm English actually, not Welsh! Haha! But it was an excellent game regardless, and you deserved the win after so long!
As an italian, i could only dream today's result! Beating Wales...in Cardiff. No way. But any supporter like me always believed it was possible...not simple to keep believing after seven, very long years. So proud of my, our boys. The game was smart by them, always there on the score with two different kickers...and a beautiful final try. Well managed. I can't say this very often. Absolutely true! But it's sad that this news hasn't been spread that much as it deserved, (in Italy at least) this result is absolutely incredible
Happy for the Italian fans, it's difficult to keep supporting a team who almost always loses.
Met plenty of their fans over the years, really nice people.
I hope all that relegation talk is put to bed now.
Yeah, all that distraction was never gonna happen anyway, since they also partly own the 6N.
I am so greateful i saw this win. For us all italian fans, keep cheering and watching games even when our own media have a laugh at our passion or other sports fans telling us it's wasted time, thanks. This means so much for us. It's just one game but it gives us back some needed pride. In the Next years to come and new players generations coming from our promising u20 (they won vs England and Scotland and waiting to face Wales on Sunday) we need to raise the bar and make this kind of wins more frequent, more thrilling, more to be proud of. Now it's time for celebrations, finally, after 7 grim and grey years.
Parole sante! Speriamo davvero in una bella svolta positiva per il prossimo anno e magari più attenzione dai media!

Ange Capuozzo is Italy's new star imo. He is a lightweight (weighs max. like 70-75 kg ?) who scored two tries and did one of the most important decisive passes in Italy's rugby history in only one game and a 2nd half.
