As somebody who has done a lot of electronics repair, I looked up the camera because of that guys comment, he is actually technically correct. There's no soldering required, the microphone port is connected with a ribbon cable. You'd only realistically need a screwdriver, a pry tool (preferably soft plastic so it breaks before whatever you're prying does), and some tweezers. That said, as a first timer it still would have easily taken you three hours or more and you'd have to be extremely meticulous with all of the cables and screws you'd be removing and putting back. Definitely best left to a professional.
Interesting. I think when I looked the repair up a long time ago to do it myself, it just seemed so intense that I thought it would need me to switch out the board or something. But yeah, even though it's doable, sometimes it's just not worth it, appreciate looking into it though
Mudan, the JapanEat short is titled “It’s ok. The Japanese blue pork buns can’t hurt you.” I didn’t realized you guys reviewed the same thing so close together
Hearing about wearing those kinda thin white long sleeve shirts reminds me of how in much of the Middle East the traditional garb for men is almost full coverage with white cloth because if it breathes well and reflects some heat it's way better than a t-shirt, plus less/no sunburn.
honestly i have no idea how it must feel for you but 4 months really flew by quickly man. congratulations on keeping it going so far! keep it up big man 💪
even if you're not going as hard in post, you're totally getting better in flow and crafting a story for your vlogs, I'm still amazed by what you're able to put out daily, without even counting work stuff, also. 45:15 I see what you did there I missed a handful of videos from this past month but I love these end of the month recap, best of luck on the journey you sentient editing machine of man
Me again, the one who mentioned understanding the flat soda thing. I ALSO dilute soda by adding water. I do it to juice as well because it is often too sweet. I'm with you, friend. Lmao
its honestly absurd to me that millions of people know youre the head editor of trash taste, and have your own channel but yet 88k subs... the content is great thanks mudan i love you
oh holy shit my comment's actually in one of these, thanks babysitter! I also want to get into scrapbooking (and already have some supplies) but never actually get around to doing it. I think I just like hoarding craft supplies rather than actually using them lol
Mudan: are you planning to do any movie-based vlogs? I'm thinking about visiting famous places that are usually used in movies or introducing less-known places that are actually used in movies. When I first visited Japan it was quite an experience to follow the path of the Wolverine movie, starting at Zōjō-ji Temple, going through Akihabara, and reaching the Ueno station, where the main characters tried leaving Tokyo with a Shinkansen.
We have a IMAX in Germany that has that dual Laser Projector 3D shit going on. Honestly the only 3D experience I ever had that was actually not too dim or weird. So much brightness haha.
if mudan reads this, i will say, you should say like & subscribe in your videos more. I'm already subscribed and watch your vids whenever they pop up in my subs feed, but i always forget to like videos. i just watch and close the tab. hearing "like & subscribe" always reminds me to like, and i'm sure there are other ppl like me out there haha
Have you considered to go into one of those rent-a-kimono -places with babysitter? When me and my friend visited Japan, we went into place that sold yukatas, cause we wanted to get our own. It was nice experience with tea ceremony and they took us into park and took very nice pictures.
When I asked my question about the salaryman fit. My assumption was that it would be like an invisibility cloak for jp. As well as making many interactions easier since you look like you belong. I guess I was spot on from your answer, and the fact that it's grafted onto your skin now😂
You should actually try to upload some shorts from your videos, it can really boost your views and subscribers. I really like the videos and would love to see you grow, you deserve it!
Alright, with a little more info, what I think happened with your laptop is that the first shop didn't fix your port right and damaged the motherboard. The motherboard and CPU (and a lot of other components) in laptops are permanently soldered together to make them smaller, so them damaging either is really bad. If another shop also says it's a mobo related issue, you're cooked I'm afraid. It might be more cost effective to upgrade the laptop or replace with a new one (idk what model yours is or the prices of them, so choose yourself).
I went to the Sumo arena 10 years ago. At that time it was not necessary to book in advance. I went in the morning to get the entry bracelet, watch a few bouts then explore a bit of Tokyo and got back at the end of the day. Filming was allowed. Again it was 10 years ago, so maybe it has change. The thing is ambiance is quite different between the morning which is for debutant and the afternoon which is for the top contenders.
To the boat/ferry thing on enoshima island, the ferry is a normal public transport method, but if the see is rough it won't be active. We walked from the front to the back and planned to go back via ferry, stood at the terminal just to read that it's not in operation and walk up the millions of stairs again.
Talking about IMAX and missing the action from turning your head and that sort of thing: that's why I honestly don't actually like watching narrative films in IMAX. When I was a kid almost everywhere that had IMAX screens was something like a science museum or aquarium or whatever and they played almost exclusively documentaries. Those were amazing because it was so immersive, but also because you were usually watching nature or an airplane or whatever with narration and there was typically not a ton of things actively happening on the sides so much as just more cool scenery.
The japaneat short with the denim ice cream you were looking for was the first one with the denim pork bun. Name is "It’s ok. The Japanese blue pork bun can’t hurt you."
I'm surprised that one of my comments got picked, never expected such thing. My day has become much better (after having to ran away from the rain early).
Whelp, guess this means you've got to take the Babysitter out to a Michelin-star restaurant, now, as compensation. Thanks, fella~! What sorts of wacky things will Mudan get up to tomorrow?
What microphone do you use when making those shots where you're standing far away from the camera? Also what is it attached to? Edit: nvm you answered it in the video
I remember a story on a podcast i listen to about an olympic judo silver medallist whose rival was a salaryman who came in to train on his lunch break. The salaryman won every match.
Anime trope I found true: You know in anime, when you make a corny joke, and you get crow sounds? Well, there's just so many crows in Tokyo, and you do get that sfx.
Car meets are held almost every saturday night around 8-9pm at akihabara UDX it's a short walk from the akihabara station. there's also daikoku PA in yokohama but you will need a car to access.
Thank you babysitter! Please be sure to discipline him well. >D And awe you were mean to the poor guy at the conbini trying to practice his english. He finally mustered up the courage to speak in english and youre prolly scared him for life. He will never do so again. XD
You should give mr. danger in ueno, asakusa a try when you're in the area. It's a small hole-in-the-wall steak house run by an ex japanese pro wrestler and the food is gooooood
Oh hey, it's my smart-ass comment at 10:48 about Mudan appearance arcs! Oh shiiit also my computer comment too! That first shop definitely just fucked your entire machine.
For the work visa i feel like the person ment like what is the process for applying, do you need to have a job that relates to japan or takes places in there from another company , do you pay taxes etc etc
Thank you babysitter for keeping this man alive
What happened to your other comment? You know, the temple speedrun one?

Man, time flies. It feels like only yesterday when you started this series.
It's terrifying

Ohh, he did it at a different place as well. But yeah, blueberry ramune, that's the taste description that I was looking for the ice cream.

Congratulations on 90K subscribers! You will soon have 100K.
BTW, did you know "mudan" means "without permission" or "unauthorized" in Japanese?

Filming is generally allowed at sumo events. Also, if it's too hard to go to a pro event, try high school or college sumo events.
Definitely big thanks to Babysitter for somehow keeping Mudan from exploding or imploding or turning into Strong Zero or whatever he's at risk of.
Me again, the one who mentioned understanding the flat soda thing. I ALSO dilute soda by adding water. I do it to juice as well because it is often too sweet. I'm with you, friend. Lmao

2nd day in Japan and I swear I saw this man in an orange shirt crossing the bridge to the asahi headquarters.
Less is more. You use what you need when you need it and aren’t trying to overcompensate, it seems more confident. Been really enjoying the trip sir!
Blessed with a 50min vid

Go Salary Man go! Hope the summer humidity won't stop you from wearing the suit! Btw how much does the suit cost and how many do you own?
Kosmos was IMAX but Kosmos is no longer a cinema. Now the only IMAX is in the T1 shopping centre.
