He’s right NFL scouts literally sit in classes and study hall sessions. They interview people at the local grocery stores that a player goes too. They really do a thorough background check on kids.

As a Canes fan I want absolutely NOTHING to do with Cormani. Have no idea if he’s even interested in coming back but if I’m Mario I’m snubbing him just like he snubbed us. Immaturity has repercussions.

  • @livingthervlocalifecarlosa3111

Truth be told, Cormani’s stumbling block is Cormani. Talent is there, the issue is he thinks his (entitlement) is all encompassing. He feels his talent is enough. Not willing to perform the tediousness of the sport, except in a few spurts, like student of the week once, showing to the film room a few times. He missed a bunch of required attendance functions. One thing not much talked about is his share of collective and NIL.

Early on it was rough like it’s rough for most freshman but he played more n more as the year went, he started 4 games, started the last 3 games n was commended by CU coaches for his maturity n growth.

Do anyone know Cormani personally.. I would love to hear how his character is and if he really the issue or is it really Colorado staff .. I keep seeing favoritism.. but I really believe Coach Prime knows it takes more than just sheudeur shiloh and Travis to win .. yall have to be realistic

Cormani needs a change of scenery meaning stay out of Florida (FSU, Miami) and come to the Big 10. The Big 10 runs more traditional defenses which will develop Cormani. They also have the largest metro areas with NFL teams. NYC (Rutgers), LA (USC, UCLA), Chicago (Northwestern), Philly (Penn State). I think Cormani being around NFL players will change him for the better.

Dan Lanning, the University of Oregon's head coach, was eager to show top cornerback transfer Cormani McClain around campus. As they strolled across the quad, Lanning was extolling the virtues of the university's academic programs when suddenly, without warning, a herd of buffalos thundered onto the scene.
The buffalos, escaped from a nearby farm, had wandered onto campus, causing chaos and destruction in their wake. Before Lanning could react, the buffalos trampled him, their hooves pounding against the ground mere inches from McClain's feet. The transfer's eyes widened in shock as Lanning was tossed aside like a rag doll.
McClain rushed to Lanning's side, but it was too late. The coach lay motionless, his injuries too severe. The buffalos, still rampaging across the quad, were finally sedated and captured by animal control.
McClain was in shock, his mind racing with the devastating turn of events. He had never intended for his visit to end like this. He called for emergency services, but it was too late. Dan Lanning was pronounced dead at the scene.
The news sent shockwaves through the university and the football community. Cormani McClain was left reeling, his recruitment visit turned to tragedy. He withdrew his consideration from the university, unable to shake the memory of the horrific incident.
The university was left to pick up the pieces, mourning the loss of their beloved head coach. An investigation into the incident revealed a series of unfortunate events and oversights that led to the buffalos' escape. The tragedy served as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of life and the importance of vigilance in preventing such incidents.
And so, the story of Dan Lanning's untimely demise became a somber cautionary tale, a reminder of the devastating consequences of a chance encounter with a herd of buffalos.

Great inside conversation guys. I believe this also taps into the type of school. All schools are not the same when it comes to building character. Most of the time ability translates but maturity growth is a big part of that. Not to mention athletes that go to certain schools tend to be very successful in the pros. Not necessarily pro bowls and gold jackets. But 7-10 year careers to set up their futures as men. O-H

Whatever the measurables you gave on cormani. YOu can find them at the local basketball court. Who did cormani play in high school? Competion is the problem. 6'2 315 2xstae champion bench 405 4x 17yrs old. Played on the number 2 team in the nation in 2023{starter} played on state champ team in 2021. in south florida.. YOU dont have one star by his name...Why? Played 7 top ten teams in high school. Started as a freshman.. By the grace of god he received a divison one scholarship.

Make them wait until their on campus and in season before presenting nil opportunities. Why should any high school player be promised nil opportunities when only 1% of the population knows them and even care who they are.

They rankings are completly bias Andrew. I have seen you guys rank people just off of height and weight . Facts. ..Half of the nfl is undrafted. 7 on 7 is not contact football.. But you constantly rank guys in biker shorts. The central florida flops are a product of the competition,, Tell me who did cormani play in high school? Dade.. Broward? Palm beach.. some of the guys on your site dont even have tape and you have them ranked! I have a question for your organization. Please dont delete the comment and respond to me like a man.. 6'2 315 2x state champion, Bench 405 3x 17 years old played on the number 2 team in the nation {starter} state champion in 2023, played on state champion in 2021 backup/splitminutes. Prime isn't a proven coach. Cormani and other CU members have seen some dysfunction that we dont know of. I think he will excel at an established program and a team that has a culture.

NOTHING will change his Trajectory if we using conventional wisdom. CORNERS through out history have been the most troubled football position in the sports. PACMAN JONES among others where trouble makers ewrly on and nothing impeded him from resching the league. Plus since when is jumping on the portal all of a sudden a red flag. Deon is a good coach but his program as of today does not come close to a top 20 program. Their pass rush was abysmal and If i was a corner I would not want to play for a defense thats porous all around.

@@islandrepublic9166 um do you have eyes and ears. If Cormani McClain's coach, which was Deion Sanders, tells the world that Cormani McClain needs to practice better and focus more on getting better as a player but Pacman Jones' coach doesn't come out to the media to tell the world that Pacman Jones needs practice better and be more dialed in to being a better college football player then the 2 situations aren't the same. How many games did Pacman not play or start in college due to football reasons??? Any player can get a slap on the wrist for off field reasons if their play on the field warrants it. But that's not why we're talking about McClain today. He didn't punch a girl, he didn't run a red light, he didn't stand on a table and yell expletives. This is all football related. He's a 5-star recruit who didn't prove to Deion that he was amazing enough to skip class, skip film study, hot dog in practice and still go out on Saturday and impact the game.
So regardless of who told me what because they never knew my grandma, Cormani McClain is on the verge of being a 5-star bust.
