Fred Simon is an Italian producer and DJ who since the early 2000s began producing with samples and keyboards as a true disciple of Hip Hop culture. His insatiable research for records led him to perform as a DJ internationally. While drawing inspiration from timeless figures such as Malavasi, Kashif, Sade and DJ Quik, Fred vaults this music into modern times by blending together elements and styles of contemporary R&B, Soulful Hip Hop, 80's funk and electronic. Fred has collaborated with artists such as Durand Bernarr, Nanna.B, Buscrates, Amalia, Moniquea and many more.
A quick journey through a crescendo of Italian funk grooves and compositions written between ‘74 and ‘84, exploring styles and sounds of prog-funk, jazz, boogie, afrobeat and disco.
