Excellent Video! having the same issue and couldn't figure out how to adjust the chain.

Thanks for this. I had the same issue with my Jet jointer/planer and this fixed it right up.

IDK why because it's just an immediate impression, but I like your presentation style a lot. Subscribed. Please keep sharing your knowledge!

Great video, thanks. Compared to my machine you've barely got an issue. On mine the chain is jumping all the time even when it's not under load. I've tried tightening the idler but it doesn't seem to be much of a fix. It corrects the problem for a little while and then it goes back slipping. I wonder if the chain has stretched, does that sound plausible do you think? Even to my non-engineer eye the design looks wrong though. The way it's built the sprocket for the outfeed roller will only ever get about 1/4 engagement.

nice videos, very informative, the belt flapping is normal on a span that long, it should have an idle pulley or tensioner, but as long as the belt is not loose it's fine

Hey David... Have you had any issues with keeping the fence square to the tables? I can't seem to keep them square. Every time I lock it down it shifts the top of the fence back slightly :(

@@DavidPx dang... Ya I pretty much use the same process but no matter what I do it just seems to shift ever so slightly. I can usually work with it, but it drives me nuts... I'm thinking I may to have to just make a fixed 90 degree fence as I dont joint many angles and I can just move on with my life :p
