I really like my Jet Loaders. No little knobs to fumble with, and about the price of a new magazine for certain auto pistols.

Grips being in the way is the main reason I have not been a fan of speedloaders. Maybe this option is worth a look.

Definitely work a look. I love these things. Very easy to grab from the pocket and easy to get ammo in the gun.

You wasted at least a second and a half doing double/triple pump on the ejector rod, give it a good one time chop, the force will kick those rounds out every time less than a second.

I love zeta6. They make an option for j frame and lcr. I found the lcr to work better in j frames. It's smaller and doesn't get blocked by the grips. They hold firm, drop in like a moon clip, and strip off quickly. If you haven't tried them, they're like 10 bucks for two. Very small footprint as well (actually carryable)

I've tried them but I have concerns about the pressure they place on the crane. The ones I got took a lot of force to pry off. I carry my reload in my left pocket and keep the gun in my right hand when loading so I only have a trigger finger to support the cylinder.

The only downside to this speedloader that I have found is that if the cartridge has a sharp inside rim edge, it will file out the central plastic locking element when it is released after a few uses, so time will tell how long it will work (i.e. locking the cartridges well) - I took the speedloader apart for some reason after some use and saw a lot of wear of the locking element bottom side.

I stick with speed strips because no one has figured out a way to make a functional IWB holster for the loaders. They are simply too bulky to pocket for me

I get it. I carry mine in a pocket. The size and number of options makes it financially unviable to develop an IWB speedloader carrier. It's also really hard to design just like comfortable IWB magazine carriers.

@@HarrysHolsters Yea I can see how it would be difficult. Round is not a good shape for IWB. I have actually used a Safariland CD-2 backwards so it’s IWB. It works well with a Comp 3 loader but with other loaders it’s a bit more challenging to grab. It does work though and I think some type of spring steel setup like on the CD-2 would allow for size and and other variability’s 🤷🏼‍♂️

@@sharper9009 I've got the measurements of the all the speedloaders somewhere but even within just J frame loaders the spread is much wider that people would think.

Looks like a good option compared to my HKS speed loader that causes problems with certain grips. I know i had to remove some rubber off my J frames grip so the HKS spead loader would get caught on the grip.

I switched from carrying a semi-auto to a small revolver about a dozen years ago. My favorite way to reload is a speed strip rather than a speed loader. I'd sure like to see a comparison video.
