I am a Naga and I have no idea what is going on and what is being served in the plate by the Govt. Of India and our National Political Groups of Nagaland. The so called tribal apex bodies does not even have the audacity to explain or even ask for the opinion of it's own people. There are many youths like me who have no idea what is going on even when it is about our future. We deserve to be told the truth because the decision that is made today will affect our generation for the rest of our lives and likewise. We are the main stakeholders and our opinion matters. As KK Sema mentioned, the apex bodies need to go back to their people and take the mandate of the people, without this it will be like all other accords in the past with no fruits.

Iam a Naga, a common man and also a student doing my studies in the technical field. India and the whole world knows that Nagas have every right to be Independent. The only problem for India is her internal security, signing the Nagas aspiration will definitely resurrect other insurgents in the North east, which will definitely have a big problem for India and the second point is, there is this fear in India on the part of her global power, Nagaland is one such geographical area that India considers strategic for her eastern frontier. Nagas are definitely siding with the Chinese and Pakistan for good because India have done more harm than good for the Nagas. As a concerned naga citizen and a well aware student on the Naga issue I would strongly speak up what I feel without any bias, and so the fact is HISTORY, History tells it all. My mother's and sister we're brutally raped, my uncle's and brothers were mercilessly tortured, people were taken away and never seen again, Houses and Villages were burnt down, graniaries and paddy field were burnt down to ashes, people were kept in concentration camps like the Jews by the Nazis, and an unaccounted number of Naga's in thousands were murdered by the Indian for just one fact that we are standing for our birth right. Brave Naga warriors fought an undeclared war with india where the journalist were shut out of Naga hills so the world doesn't know the brutality of Indians. If any party sign an agreement within the constitution of India again, that would be simply another Shillong Accord and 16 point agreement that will wake up more younger Naga generations and ignite more agressive groups for the cause. There is no compromisation to Naga's Sovereign rights. What is right fully belongs to Nags will remain with Nagas and no force on earth can dare to snatch it from us just like that. A bit out of the loop, so the Naga's want a separate flag and constitution like Kashmir or do they want complete secession and form their own country? A completely new country is bad for both sides, however there can be some compromise regarding the flag and constitution. If they want a separate constitution, what will that entail? I support NSCN-IM on theeir stand for flag and Constitution because with that comes our rights, the 7 decades of struggle will have no base and meaning if there is exchange of Nagas right for the so called "economic package". That doesn't compensate Nagas cause in any manner. For younger Naga generations it will be like adding more fuel to fire.
Many Young Nagas are definitely joining NSCN-IM because they are the one actually standing for the people. The people's mandate is very clear from the very beginning of Nagas struggle which is "COMPLETE SOVEREIGNty"

A bit out of the loop, so the Naga's want a separate flag and constitution like Kashmir or do they want complete secession and form their own country? A completely new country is bad for both sides, however there can be some compromise regarding the flag and constitution. If they want a separate constitution, what will that entail? What will become of the NSCN-IM? Are they gonna keep killing other northeasterners and the Assam rifles? Will they be a completely separate army only for the state of Nagaland?
