I had no idea about the Gannibal kickstarter! I will pick up the standard volumes when they come out. There is a whole bunch here that I am interested in!
Ooooo some of those new horror/post-apocalyptic releases look promising 😻, especially Gannibal and Fool Night. Hadn't even heard of those two, so I'm glad you did some research on new releases for me lol. Thanx😆
Got some really good recs in this video! i only knew about they were 11 and medalist before but as soon as i heard the word cannibal i got so hyped for gannibal (: also waiting to read the 5 vols im gonna save once Shonen note is completed
gachiakuta is also releasing the 16th of January!, ive had it preordered since the first day it was listed on the site lol so excited. the mangaka drawing and writing Gachiakuta, Kei Urana, was an assistant for Atsushi Ohkubo on Soul eater, and Fire force!. Ohkubo being one of my favorite mangakas i had to get this.
I want to check out a bunch of these too!! I’m excited for Golden Kamuy’s last volume as well as Alice in Borderland! I’m hoping we will get the sequel series for Alice in Borderland too!! 🤞🏼I think it’s called Retry!
@@tonireadsmanga It's a decades old manga and it's hard to see it have much appeal to the younger audience, so I get it if it takes a while. However, there are many old school mangaka (esp female ones like Hagio Moto) that are so important to manga history that I always rec that people give them a shot.
These releases all sound very interesting, but I think that 2024 will be a slow manga year (regarding new releases) for me which is good so I can catch up on my incomplete series.
Mostly looking forward for Veil, Bless and The Apothecary Diaries light novel editions and also interested to see how the new Haikyu omnis will look like👀
I completely forgot about the Haikyu omnibus since I already own the series but hopefully it will allow more people to collect it. I still think box sets would have been the better choice but oh well 🤷♀️

I really only knew about the kickstarter because of Reddit and Twitter, there didn’t seem to be any buzz about it here on CZcams

I’m almost always up to date with the new horror releases, other things not so much lol

I’ve read a surprising number of books/manga with cannibals so I’ll have to add this one to the list lol

I’ll be checking that one out as well
Sketchy sounds fun. I'll give it a try.
I’ve never seen a skateboarding manga before so I’m looking forward to trying it
I'm very excited for Wandering Cat's Cage too! 🙂
It looks really interesting and I like to support Fantagraphics releases

I always forget about the Alice in Borderland sequel, hopefully the original series was successful enough for Viz to license it
Thanks for this video. Will definitely be checking a lot of these out ❤
Lots of fun new stuff next year!
I'm quite looking forward to Gannibal and Fool Night, and I'm a big fan of Hagio Moto so it's great to see "They Were 11" being re-released! :D
I’ll wait however long it takes for Denpa to finally release it

I’ve noticed that a lot of the new series releasing next year are relatively short so not huge commitments
im excited for Gachiakuta to get an english release in January
That’s one that I was on the fence about including, I might try it out though
