Sweat Elite Training Sessions = best Pro Running YT Channel ever!
Alex absolutely crushed the Cross Country relay. She really pulled the GB team back in the third leg and set it up for the finish. At the detriment of Ireland unfortunately but it was very impressive.
The 800 meters was my favorite distance. I still enjoy that type of workout all these years later (in my 50s).
😁Your comment....I ran 800 meters in HS and hated it. I did a .57 400 meter and 2:12 800. I'm in my late 50's now but can run a 1:18 400.

Different vibe in UK, love it even more. Maybe because these athletes are not as exposed as in the US, but still deliver crazy workouts ! thanks Matt for all those great contents.
Such good content guys. Keep em coming!
“Apologies about the bike sounds” it ok we can’t hear anything over the pacers heavy feet! 😂
Yeeaaahh🔥❤️❤️
Buen video! 👌😸
Great stuff! I spent some time in Leeds Harrogate, but I didn't know the running scheme was so awesome! I was an American Airmen stationed in the UK.
Fun Group!
Alex is an absolute beast. If you get chance to check out her leg of the 2021 Euro XC relay please do, she totally crushed it
@@mograguel czcams.com/video/UZcLRXYkaF8/video.html from about 12.30 for Alex's leg dude
I wonder what pace they were running uphill - thanks for the great content once again
Cycling up the hill for each rep must have been a pretty good workout too...
Very nice
Great videos Matt. What camera/stabilizer do you use? Also, do you use a mic and mic sock?
Nikon Z50, no stabiliser. Do have one but find it's better without. Rode mic with standard sock it comes with.
That was some hilarious razzing at the 6:30 mark
“Minor bikes sounds” - haha don’t worry production team, we can’t hear a thing over the Clydesdale horse stomping away stride after stride. That guy is one pounding runner, uff I’d have to wear ear buds if I were Alex, haha.
Alex Bell is fantastic!
I'm From India and as its Winter season here what do long distance runner workout for 5000/10000m can anyone share workout I'm too a cross country player
Hello from GREECE.
3 types of run workout in the week.
First: Tempo run 10km -70 to 80% of your max heart rate
Second: 4km easy run & 5 to 6 times 5min effort uphill run with at least 8-10% grade at 90% of max heart rate.
And the last one a 2 -2.5 hours long run at 60-70% at your max heart rate.
Between in the week you must do 2 times a strength workout....
Mo Farah Any Training sessions please
Listen to Hendo!!....14sec/mile less on tempo and 10m further on hill rep .... :)
When will you make the vedio with nn running team?
@@sweatelite how in the world could anyone not be a fan of what you guys do lol?
We don't want to turn the comments section of Videos dramatic but a few years ago we shared an image of theirs in a way they didn't like (we weren't aware it was their image, thought it was a stock image) and we were then blocked via all their accounts... including Kipchoge himself (who obviously doesn't run his IG page). Their mood hasn't changed it seems.
Combination of my booster jab🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Funny as hell
that bike needs some adjustment iihihihihihihi
Neat my names al an bell
800m is interesting some train shorter intervals and some train with long runs.
For sure. Depends on how the runner is built. They have 400/800 runners and 800/1500 runners. 800/1500 runners will be more focused on higher mileage and longer intervals. I'm a 400/800 and most of the work I do is repeat 400s-800s, never higher
@@jordycg5818 yes I'm more of a strength based 800 runner so do higher mileage (I've averaged 66 miles per week since early November) and a lot of long intervals (800-mile repeats, 2-5 mile tempos)
@@jadel-houssami4994 yeah see, I’m roughly at 25-30miles a week and they come from interval work. I run a 1:57. Not anything amazing but it’s something at least
@@adrianlloret333 yes they are, especially for speed! But those short intervals are probably more like extensive and intensive tempos
Some give a Ethiopian runner videos
Wouldn’t it be easier to measure and mark start and finish of, say, 200m distance up the hill and forget the 30 second times and all the whistle blowing? 🏃♀️
Hill repeats are normally done to time and not distance, and is easier to work out the recovery time
I know that there are hills in England and that's not one of them.
I asked for an 800m runner and you delivered thanks🙏🏾
You're welcome🙏
Olympic finalist in the 800m no less
