If I were the cardinals I would play pujols every game from now on and to the playoffs. Why it’s simply because the stats said so. He is only played 70 games so far. He connected 13 HR, 37 rbis, 53 hits, 9 doubles, 101 TB, 1 SB, 19 BB, only 37 S, 2.69 batting av, 513 slugging av, and 858 OPS. There’s a DH or PH position so I don’t see why it’s not possible. The legend is clicking the cylinder and feels like it is 20 years ago. He’s still better than many of the MLB players specially those who are in contenders for right now. The cardinals should give him a shot with full trust in his unique ability. I’m a Dodgers fan and fully support the legend Pujols 👌🙏🏻💯

I ran all the food for the box club suites and infinity level for the dbacks their first 2 seasons.. and I walked out earlier in the day to watch McGuire take batting practice. It was the year he broke the record. I was literally the only person in the stadium besides the players.. and the very first pitch he famously hit and dented the bank one scoreboard. I was the only civilian to see it lolol.

Excluding Barry Bonds' fake home run record from steroids, Hank Aaron is the all time leader with 755. Pujols is currently just 62 home runs behind Aaron. It's VERY likely the roughly 400 At Bats that Pujols lost during the Covid-shortened season of 2020, cost him a chance to be going for the all time (legitimate) home run record in 2023. If Pujols would have hit 25 more HR's in 2020 without the shortened season, and hits 8 more this year (both quite possible), he'd be entering 2023 ONLY 29 BEHIND Aaron, which surely would have made him come back. It's a shame Covid robbed that chance.
Yes plus all the other years that he didn't get many advance in Albert back in the second year with California we had 390 at bats
Of course there's a lot of players in that position over the years missing a lot of at bats if you look at Ted Williams he lost three or four years due to the war so if he could have played those years he probably would have had over 700 home run
