In this video we are using the Mud Demon to pump concrete for this latest project. We laid out 150’ of 2.5” hose to run the concrete through. Here we show how it is possible to pump 1”- 1.5” crushed stone through this machine and hose. We did have some trouble with the last truck but was able to over come that with layout some 3” hoses. The Mud Demon did perform flawlessly.

Looks like you have the same challenge with directional control up/down of the Gimbal on your drone. I was doing some research, and folks have been screaming at DJI for several years now to offer a software update for changing those control as such that they're similar to a flight yoke (down is up and up is down). Dang thing gets me every time!!!!

that is one slick rig a small company could have one of those pumps n use the skid steer to run it after setting the grade get the most use out of that machine. I'll have to show my uncle he's in the concrete business.

They cut you short on Cement on the last batch! That happened to me when I pumped 3000psi concrete with crushed limestone aggregate.

can you use the pto on a pickup truck to power it?

I’m sure you can. You are limited by the GPM of the hydraulic pump. GPM will equal Yards per hour up to maximum 30 yards a hour.

I trying to figure out the advantage of this mud demon. So the small footprint? You still need to bring it on a trailer and the hoses. I'm sure there is a certain job it would be perfect for but it doesn't seem practical.

One of the advantages of the Mud Demon is it’s a skid steer attachment. So once you’re done pumping you have other opportunities to go make money with your skid steer. If the only thing you do is pump concrete and that’s all you want to do then it may not be a piece of equipment you need. I can name off other advantages such as the mobility of the pump using it in tight quarters. Obviously you still have to get a concrete truck to it but it can allow you to save on space.

I’m with you. Larger investment, more weight to haul around and more parts to break down.

@@MuddyfeetConcretePumpinghow does the price compare to a trailer pump? Can you get a skid steer and Muddemon for the price of a trailer pump? I know you said it's $50,000 for the Demon. Is a comparable trailer pump over $100,000 or $150,000? Thank you, Sir.

Buy a recovery/forestry winch attachment for the skid and now you have a means to recover the boom trucks when they decide to identify as the Titanic! That will be a big advantage to the company as it will avoid towing costs.

I think the appeal of the Mud Demon setup is that if you already had a skid steer that you pull around with a trailer and you wanted to pump concrete, you could use what you already have without trying to pull two trailers around.

1-1/2” rock through 2-1/2” hose lol. Jeff said I think it’s actually smaller but they can call it 1-1/2” lmao. I’ve had problems with 3/4” in 2-1/2” hose when it’s really rocky. Ain’t no way I’d pump 1-1/2” stone

Most of the concrete companies around them use #57 limestone. Sometimes you get lucky and get loaded with mostly minus and it can look close to pea gravel. and if its a reverse mix on top of that, you wont find a better load for a line pump.
