Gorgeous ship, will take a million euro’s for the refit, but she deserves it😊
Lovely classic yacht. I love this kind of yacht. A small ship. No hurry but very stable at sea.
Absolutely love it. The patina is so appealing to me. With some TLC this will be a gem in my opinion.
Interesting boat, good pedigree. Will be a bit of a money pit, would be a good buy sub 250k euros.
Nice classic yacht.
There are a lot of things about this boat that I love and only a few that I hate. If by some miracle I were to acquire it, I would want to update a lot, upgrade some, while trying very, very hard to maintain it's original aesthetic. I might even find a place for my complete Tintin collection.
stunning
Feadship. Quality.
Looks like a damn good yacht 2 me I don't know about engine, generator and all that stuff but like they say: if the price is Right anything is 4 Sale !! By the way I gave you ur LIKE !! 😅😅😊😊
Thanks! 🙌
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Love the styling and lines of this little ship, could easily sink £20,000 into tarting her up just to a serviceable standard.
You would spend double that amount on the teak decks alone .
You missed just one zero there
All that flat space up top should be covered with solar panels.
"Classic" solar panels?
@@Toby_the_Glen which ever one you prefer. I would take the "classic" and raise it one inch off the roof for cooling.
An overdue full refit of this classic yacht would cost more than the asking price .
How efficient are those diesels?
This could be a nice ship after a fully rebuild, but that takes more then the price now.
It'd take at least $100,000 to make her right. It really annoys me when an owner fails to maintain their vessel. The old practice of keelhauling seems to be an appropriate penalty. I hope someone restores her properly and loves her for another 60 years.
$100K would barely update the electronics. Engines…another $100K. Most importantly, nothing was said about the condition of the 60 year old steel hull…which probably needs a substantial amount of repair/replacement. That would probably make this an unrealistic project for anyone other than a connoisseur of classic vessels…with a bottomless wallet. $1M would probably be on the low end.
Maybe the owner got OLD and had to repair themselves before the boat 😉
Agreed with you pal! The force is so strong!
These are nice boats, but this one needs more work than the asking price. Over $150,000.00 in electronics updates, $200,000.00 in deck work(restoring the teak decks) the galley is abysmal and terribly in efficient. Electrical upgrades are about $50,000.00. I see no tender, another $10, 000.00 plus. As a long time boat builder/restorer, I would value this boat at $150, 000.00 in her current condition. She has suffered from a lack of a real owner/steward to keep her updated and maintained properly over the years.
I agree with your refit costs but you also have to pay for the classic design. It had a refit in 2008 so let's hope the steel hull and alu top are in good shape 🙂
Judging by the bell, the owner did not really like his boat
1962 price guess: $75,000
