Lordy I have been making stretch way too complicated! Thought I needed to double the stretch… and I always struggled with beads going through! Yayyy… so glad I watched this!

Fun & creative! I have some stretch bracelets that are many years old. But if you live in a hot, dry climate, the elastic can dry out. I have restrung some bracelets with heavy beads every couple of years. Although, if your 3 yr old granddaughter tries to stretch one over the cat, it may break.

It looks like mostly agate( mostly translucent)and jasper(mostly opaque) and what looks to be serpentine on the 6mm strand if translucent light green beads.
I used to work at the jewelry counter in a big box store. Apparently in America the most common bracelet size was 7 inches and the most common ring size was a size 7 . Almost all the necklaces were 18 inches and almost all the anklets were 9 inches. This was about five years ago and did not change for the 16 years that I was there.
Too hard to choose favorites. I love them all, but if I really had to chose it'd pick that beautiful necklace!!
I absolutely hate crimping but your technique of holding the jump Ring or wire as you pull works makes it a bit easier(I was holding with my fingers)!Thank you!

?why use wire for the asymmetrical bracelet and not elastic cord.
You could use either! I liked the look with a clasp , the beads were pretty heavy, and I made two other stretch bracelets in the video.
