Not many people understand what racing is about for us. The freedom u have when ur out on the track in that moment nothing else matters and its one of the greatest feelings ever after watching this video and the hard season we had one hell of a good night thanks for the motivation

This is the most significant video for me on CZcams. I found it years ago, and I watch it often. I watch it tonight, because I often am paralyzed by fear. We are racing this week in Las Vegas, I am the mechanic, my daughter (Hannah Mayhew) is my driver.......she is a Champion! We, together won the Perris Young Guns Championship in 2017. We are now shooting for Rookie of the Year in the USAC West Coast 360 Class. I am watching this video now as therapy, to help me deal with anxiety and fear. Best of luck man. This video has always helped me in times that I felt my lowest and I felt beat down so hard that I thought I could never get back up again. I love to Mountain bike a lot and I remember I once fell and was inches away from being sent to the hospital, after that I left biking from my own fear and I was almost mad at my self but after a week I told myself I HAVE to get back on that bike and keep going foreword because I knew that one day my time will come to an end and I don’t want to waste it on fear, fear broke me down so hard that I told my self... why? It’s only a matter of time before this happened. It happens to the best of us and I knew that I would fall hard. When I saw this video it reminded me about riding my bike and all the good times I had with my friends and all the most Beautiful sites I saw and I forced my self to keep moving farther, and I pushed my self, I went more and more farther then I could even think about going. I have a dream about driving cars. I know a lot about them too and I want to living my life how I want it to be and not driven by fear. All I know is that even at 16, my Adventure in life. Has just begun

My friends in school don’t understand my dream to be out there racing big guys. I really hope that one day that dream comes true. If speed kills me it was all worth it.
He's not with us anymore, but if you want to see someone who went from nothing to standing on his wing with the checkered flag at Knoxville, it's Jason Johnson. Great blueprint to follow.
This makes me think about Bryan Clauson more than anything I wonder what the record books would look like if he was still here just think of the race teams God could put together from heaven

I experieced how a friend died ... today... but I l almost did it today when I was RACING driving a 4x4 ATV! I also experienced racing a stock car after playing on the same road (dirt) in my Kia soul - front wheel drive. -
You don’t know how bad I want to race. I’ve always had a passion for racing and and I know that’s something I want to do for the rest of my life. The only thing that I don’t have is money, but I won’t let that stop me. Somehow someway I will make it in racing.
Cynicism is a sure fire way to limit yourself. I’d recommend adjusting your outlook before you worry about chasing dreams. And no one has to take on debt, so it’s not a never ending cycle for everyone. Live within your means and figure out a way to grow
@@sidebite2533 It's quite poisonous how your mindset is, how defeated you must be in life. Hopefully one day you'll realize you're capable of much more than you ever thought possible. I don't ever reply to comments but I felt it my duty to reply to you. As these motivational speakers are the same ones that made me realize I could do anything I wanted, for example, getting my college degree. In high school I had a GPA of 2.6 but I recently graduated college as an honor student, and also made the Dean's list. The false hope you mentioned that these speakers instill is what helped push me to continue my education. Lastly, a lot of the people who attend these seminars of "spreading false hope" are entrepreneurs and small business owners, maybe one day you'll get a job working for one of them, and make decent money, and won't feel the need to shoot down others dreams simply because you got yourself stuck in the vicious cycle of mediocrity.
I think you miss understood what I was meaning there maybe just thought of it differently. It was not a shot at him. He is where he is because he never gave up. Anyone who has ever tried talking to him during a race night knows how serious he takes it. His passion is something every young driver should take note from. When he won the National open this year you could see in the picture I posted on Twitter the you could see how bad he wanted it. Absolutely my friend. Driving is the greatest feeling ever. It’s One of the only things ive ever done and couldn’t describe the feeling.
