After you watch this video, I don't know who can go back to using a steadicam. Not only is this the best gimbal 2018 but I feel it is the best gimbal for mirrorless cameras and the best gimbal for dslr cameras. If you want to know what the best stabilizer is for you camera, please ask me first! I'm sure I've owned it, used it or gave it a gimbal review and I would love to help guide you. Awesome video!! Thank you for all of the info. Ok, so I am about to purchase my first gimbal. I shoot with the Sony a7iii and, since I just moved from Nikon, my only lens is the Sony 24-70mm 2.8. What is the best and lightest gimbal that can handle that setup? And, if I am really pushing it, I would also love to be able to use my iPhone and my GoPro with the gimbal. Hi Brian, I enjoyed watching your video/recommendation. Now the Ronin S is out there, but compatibility issue still...with Sony. My gears are Sony A7R2, Sony A6500, Batis 25mm f2, 85mm f1.4 GM and Voigtlander 40mm f1.2. Which one do you recommend for my Sony setting? Zhiyun Crane 2 + follow focus (USD535) or DJI Ronin S (USD 700)? I personally prefer breaking down sequences more and use shallow depth of field instead of auto focus with f4~f8. Your feedback will be appreciated!
So now I'm asking you... what gimbal would you advice me for mostly sports-filming and also cinematic stuff? I noticed the Zhiyun Crane Plus which is my favourite but the Feiyutech a2000 is also very good but $250 less expensive. Does the Crane plus outweigh the a2000 and justify the higher price?

Hi Brian, great video! I have my eye on the Zhiyun Crane 2 so this is very useful to see! The only thing holding me back is that I'm aware DJI are bringing out a single handed gimbal later this year, but I think the Zhiyun is a good investment as DJI aren't very forthcoming about the full specs and costs. We actually met briefly at VidSummit last year, so it's really good to see your channel doing well! Are you going again in October?

I am purchasing a Sony a6500 with a Sigma Art 1.8 18-35mm lens along with an Aputure Amaran AL-H198 light, with a Rode mini mic pro, and a 5 inch Feelworld F570 monitor and possibly a small Rig cage for the a6500. As far as i know there is no gimbal that can operate a6500's lens (focus - zoom) - this feature would be a benefit for me. Also i would like to have an option for mounting an external monitor.
