I’m 45 and stopped wearing eyeliner because it was making me look sleepier and older. I didn’t realize until this video it’s because because I have down turned eyes!

I was sleepy so I thought I might’ve been wrong about my guess at eye type, then I followed the natural eyeline with my pencil as you said.. Definitely downturned

I like the idea of adding a little lighter shadow at the outer corners to reduce the shadow and brighten that area however for those of us in our late 30s and early 40s we are starting to get crows feet and the light shadow shows the wrinkles. This is something me and my friends (many of us in this age group) discuss.
You are too young for wrinkles but perhaps you have some ideas for this?
Any suggestions?

Witch brush do you use?
Just wait until you age & that right skin on your brow bone there droops. Then you will battle wuth not only the slope issue but also u shaped curve. You'll have to learn to complete the entire wing with the eye completely open and go with the U.

1. Brows and;
2. Eyeliner for ladies with crow’s feet.
PS. I see you are young and have no wrinkles but perhaps you have some suggestions as a workaround for ladies with droopy eyes and crow’s feet.

my eyelid folds come too far down for me to do this without it smudging and looking bad, no matter what type of liner I use, especially if it's shadow, which is my go to, so wtf do I do??
Try to only do the wing. On the very outer corner, without the whole line on the upper lash line :)
my hooded droopy downturned eyes just gave up.
