For anyone whose mind and heart are mostly dominated by his stomach, a delicious and satisfying dish could lighten up even the darkest of days in just a flick. The obsession with food is observed to be much more evident in today’s times having all of the recipe books, tv cooking shows as well as cooking sites. Chefs are the people driving the craze of food and unquestionably they dominate the culinary world.
Foods from all over the world bring happiness and produced by the craftiest hand of the greatest chefs from all over the globe, they’re simply ecstasy. But of course, we need to give the credit to all the culinary chefs who prepare the dishes that offer culinary orgasms to people all over the world. Never ever forget to thank the chef. Keep watching to know about the top 10 Michelin Star chefs around the globe. Michelin stars is a rating system used by the red Michelin Guide to grade restaurants on the basis of their quality. This French honor is a hallmark of fine dining quality. They’re the most influential as well as the best chefs of all time that have dominated and still dominates the culinary world, providing a terrific sense of taste for all.
    10. Seji Yamamoto
Rooted in principles of ancient kaiseki cuisine, chef Seiji Yamamoto celebrates the purity of flavor found in hyper-seasonal Japanese ingredients, elevating them into small works of art through modern technique at his seminal Tokyo restaurant. Since Nihonryori RyuGin debuted in 2003, Yamamoto has become one of Japan’s leading figures in progressive kaiseki cookery, pioneering the style and earning a top 10 spot in every edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.
    9. Anne-Sophie Pic
French chef Anne-Sophie Pic joins our list with five stars. Surprisingly enough, she has no formal culinary training. She launched her career after taking over her family’s restaurant and vaulting it to three stars. She extended her art of French gastronomy with her second restaurant, Restaurant Anne-Sophie Pic.
    8. Ferran Adrià
In 1980, this Spanish chef began his career in the culinary industry as a dishwasher at the Hotel Playafels, where a chef took interest in teaching him traditional Spanish cuisine.
    7. Heston Blumenthal
Heston Blumenthal, a British-born chef holding six stars, had his interest in cooking sparked on a childhood holiday in Provence, France during a meal at Michelin-starred L’Oustau de Baumanière.
    6. Carme Ruscalleda
This Catalan chef is the world’s only seven-Michelin-starred female chef. Ruscalleda owns two restaurants, Sant Pau in Barcelona and Sant Pau de Tòquio in Tokyo.
    5. Thomas Keller
The Michelin guide might not be the ultimate honor amongst chefs in the United States, but Thomas Keller has gone about setting a fine example: he's the only American chef to hold all six out of his total seven stars simultaneously.
    4. Martin Berasategui
Martin Berasategui is currently decorated with eight stars, more than any other Spanish chef. Berasategui is also one of a select few chefs in the world who have two triple Michelin-starred restaurants to their name. This exceptional Basque chef earned his first Michelin star at the age of 25 and opened his first restaurant, Restaurante Martin Berasategui, in 1993.
    3. Gordon Ramsay
Known for his volatile kitchen demeanor and exceptional British cuisine, Gordon Ramsay has made his way onto television screens in just about every part of the English-speaking world. This Scottish born chef, whose name is attached to 17 restaurants globally, has been awarded 16 Michelin stars in total. His signature restaurant, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, London, has held three stars since 2001.
    2. Alain Ducasse
French chef Alain Ducasse is second only to Robuchon in Michelin stars. Over his career, he has amassed 21 stars. He is also the first chef to hold three Michelin stars in three cities at the same time.
    1. Joël Robuchon
Joël Robuchon, widely known as the ‘Chef of the Century,’ is currently decorated with 31 Michelin stars. This French chef is known as the pioneer of the post- nouvelle cuisine era, and his relentless perfectionism has translated into a more authentic, timeless French cuisine. Owner of 12 restaurants across the globe, Robuchon is also the former mentor of another talented chef on this list i.e Gordon Ramsay.

Thank you so much for this. For the longest time I wanted to compile a list of restaurants I will never ever go to because: 1: I can't pay these outrageous prices 2: None of them are in my town 3: I like to eat stuff I can pronounce and recognize at first glance. @@mrNCSUman Sorry, but I am not sure if you are talking about the same:-)
      1) There is a lot of restaurants out there with amazing food, but there is also a few restaurants who take outrageous prizes without necessary being better, these restaurants would be great to know before maybe spending an hour to get there and then find out it's only expensive to be expensive. :-)
      2) No need to drive out of town to then find out it's one of these "fancy" restaurants. Therefore, is these out of town places on the list for no need to visit.
      3) Food does not taste better because the name is in French, Italian or Norwegian and the desire to maybe tell about the great food later, is maybe hindered if you have no idea on what it was or how to pronounce it. I.e. Crêpes Suzette is a French dessert consisting of a crêpe with beurre Suzette. Maybe not everybody you tell that to will know you are talking about pancake. :-)

1:50 - And who on earth is Joe El Rabuchin?? It is pronounced Joel (to rhyme with Noel, as in Christmas time, or Oasis singer Noel Gallagher, and as in Billy Joel, the singer). The surname is phonetically pronounced somewhere in between Ro-Bush-on, and Ro-Boush-on, depending where in France you come from. Please try and do some research. Being American is no excuse I’m afraid. I’m a British foodie, yet I’m well aware of how this French man’s name is pronounced. This video contains another ton of butchered name pronunciations, but I feel it is only right for the creator to do their research and be accurate. One correction is enough, from me.

Try Googling how to pronounce all the names properly. You managed to murder all the French and English names so that I barely recognised any! Maybe just use subtitles next time?

What is worse than the sound of fingernails on a chalkboard? The stilted narration and the multitude of mispronunciations in this video is what.

The narrator should never pronounce a foreign word, or a foreign person's name. Not good!

My god. Whoever is narrating this video needs to practice every. single. word. The pronunciation of even English names is atrocious and the names of the world's major chefs is execrable. Google and other services online give you no excuses for not doing it. You don't honour these chefs when you mangle their names, you insult them. The same goes for cities, regions and any other important words in other languages. Some of the names are mangled beyond recognition.
