How sad. Losing an entire family due to the actions of a SELFISH AND THOUGHTLESS teenager! Condolences.
Gosh. If it turns out he had a seizure or stroke you’re going to feel like an idiot. Why not wait until the investigation is done before casting blame?
@@amyfu2047you MAY be right. However it seems more likely--based on my 51 yrs as a driver-- that the teen driver was trying to pass cars illegally by crossing that solid line. Unfortunately I see this behaviour EVERYDAY on the road and it's only a matter of time until tragedies like this happen.
I see just as many senior citizens that shouldn't be driving. Can't we just offer our condolences without finger pointing? Those teens, guilty or not, will carry this with them the rest of their lives. IF they recover.

An 18 yr old killed my only brother to 4 sisters in a similar ly reckless driving. My parents were the living dead till their end. We still relive it as if it happened just the other day.

I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our mom in a car crash as well. She was a block away from home and had asked someone to give her a ride home. She was hit by a truck that had logs. Both drivers walked away without a scratch and my mom died on the spot. You are right “traumas like these have no cure.” It’s been 20 years and it still seems like it happened yesterday. I can’t imagine what this man is going through. He will never be the same. :(

There is case from a couple of years ago in Johnson Country where a drunk driver killed a couple and he only got 10 years. My guess is the kids will face some charges but not anything that would result in life in prison.

Maybe they don’t know what happened. The driver might not remember. Or maybe he had a medical emergency that caused him to swerve. No use casting blame until the investigation is complete. The teens are both in critical condition too.

I'm surprised there are no comments about the horrible infrastructure that contributed to the accident. Texas is number one in the country for accidents. I've never in my life seen a road where you can drive 70 miles per hour that didn't have a divider. That's INSANE!!!

I told my teenager drivers while they were new drivers (when they were 19 and 18 yo) to be responsible. I concentrated to spend money (to train them by professional drivers) and good long period of time (2 years) before letting them drive on the road. As parents, we can assess our kiddos about their readiness on the road. I do not follow what they know they are ready. I follow my standard by assessing their readiness, we are the parents anyways. Now my kids grow up very responsible on the road. 15, 16 and 17 yo to me, is very young to be trusted with this responsibility. I have seen young kids can destroy their lives just because…so sad! 😢. Condolence to the family who have lost their loved ones…😢😢😢
