YouTube Pre-roll Ads for Small & Local Businesses

Have you ever clicked on a CZcams video and seen that little “skip” countdown? Sure, we all have, but what you may not know-especially if you have a small or local business-is that you could be missing a HUGE opportunity.

Those ads are called pre-roll ads and they could REALLY help your business even if it’s small and local-Here’s an example.
Sam here is a pretty reputable handyman in his area, but he wants to be busier. So he has a simple video created and puts it on CZcams as a pre-roll ad.
This is John. John’s got a leaky faucet and wants to be a DIYer, but he just lacks the skills. So he turns to CZcams and types in “leaky bathroom faucet”.
That’s when the magic happens. Before John can watch leaky faucet video he picked-he sees Sam’s commercial! John clicks to skip-but now he knows that Sam is out there-and close by- ready to help if he gets in over his head.
And Sam the handyman didn’t pay a thing for that 5 seconds. In fact, our handyman doesn’t pay for the ad until John has watched a full 30 seconds of the commercial!
If John watches 15 seconds of the ad and skips, Sam pays nothing.
If he watches 29 seconds of the ad, Sam pays nothing! That’s free advertising. A pretty sweet deal for Sam!
But it gets even better! CZcams and google work together so Sam can really target who gets to see his ad-things like location, income, interests, and key words like “do it yourself,” DIY, leaky faucet, plumber, home repairs, and so on.
And Sam can set a daily budget, to control spending-only paying for ads the viewer clicks on or watches for more than 30 seconds.
And what’s amazing is that most of the preroll ads (that I see anyway) are for kickstarter type products or national brands. Small and local businesses should really check this out!

CZcams making people watch +5 seconds of ads before they can watch a 5-second video on my NON-CZcams Partner Program (YPP) channel. these PreRoll Ads could run people off.
