Don't see many relic acoustics. Nice job.
Good job, man! I appreciate all the songs and tips you share!
Got a RO -t16 and just got it sanded today. I have a couple pictures of some old Martins to model it after. I've done a few electrics and this will be my second acoustic relic. Great video. Inspired me to relic a RO. Thanks pal.
Thank's Patrik for the video! The result is awesome🙃
Julien Foucaut hoped it help man.

Dude i love the soundhole job it looks alot like tony rices guitar!
Awesome video
That's really cool
u one crazy dude !!!! me like !!!!!
You did a wonderful job relicing your guitar. So many folks do it in such a way it doesn't appear natural. At least not like guitar that has been played for forty years. Yours now looks very similar to some well played vintage Martin guitars I've seen and played. Generally the ones with 50 years of honest playing wear sound very good. Of course, they probably sounded good enough when new it made people want to play them a lot.
It certainly sounds great...Very impressive tone.
He never played it lol 😂 how do you know?
A lot of work! Looks pretty convincing though.
Thanks Patrik I've been wondering how to achieved that finished look.
Thinking about doing this to mine
Cool cool
Love your guitar man, I have the same one and took the first step and dulled the finish! What did you do to the back and sides finish wise? I also have a Martin HD-28, but these sound great and are fun to play with !!
Looks great! What grit sandpaper did you use for taking the headstock logo off?
good job
Great video man!
What is the name of the amber tone product you used?
What about the sides and back?
Thanks for the video it’s definitely an awesome guitar are the braces scalloped? If not I’m surprised
The bracing is forward shifted scalloped bracing 👍🏻
Did the rosette come off when you sanded it?
I have a RD318 I want to do this too.
Thanks!
What about the back? Would have loved to hear a before and after. Maybe next time!
Hur gjorde du med sidorna och botten? Sandade du även dem? Halsen och huvudet? Har nämligen en RK som jag vill få bort lacken på.
Did you use satin clear lacquer on top of the amber? Or just the amber gave you that finish?? I can only find transparent amber spray
Semigloss amber clearcoat.
Where’d you get that pickguard?
What's back and sides look like?
Excellent! Did you remove the pick guard ? or work around it?
surfz247 hairdryer, been doing it like that for years. Always works .
Patrik S. Lundgren Official your answer makes no sense
@@Jonathan-jq5cl He used a hairdryer to remove the pickguard. He explains he replaced the guard in the video.
Ha! you are GREAT, Man; and thanks for the most important tip of all DON'T SNIFF THAT SHIT ! i'll try to remember this...
Tjenare Patrik. Hur fick du tag i nitro lacken? Letat som in i bänken men hittar inget.😅
Gitarrdelar har på sprayburk. Ambertone :)
Very nice job...don't sniff the poly like the cocaine 😆😆😁👍👍
You should see some of the idiots who freak out about relicing electric guitars on my video about relics. They would flip out over this.
WaRLoKWYATT yeah iv seen those kinda people. 😂
Are you from Sweden
Love the old school I hate when it looks new all things are possible while tweek
You are right. It's my guitar and I'll what ever I want. Next week I'll show how to burn my guitar.
Whatever floats your boat dude.
@@Flatpicknation I was agreeing with you. I hope you didn't take this wrong. Sorry man .
How difficult was it to remove the bridge from a Recording King?
Ross Collins its not all that difficult but a test of patience. You really need to let it take the time. I used an iron on this but a heatlamp on the RO-T16.
Nice, from the U.S love the white girl ,we'll I use to ha ha
Good job , 👏👍 I lile the poor boy way t.y for the due'sand don't
