Time, Love, Dreams and Death - all four chapters have been unveiled. Now begins the true End of an Empire.
After a year long production cycle, Celldweller has been slowly revealing bits and pieces of his third full length, studio artist album, which showcases a return to the more formative complex electronic and heavy metal elements that defined the unique hybrid that is Celldweller. Never one to rest on his laurels, Klayton raises the bar with a brand new level of production unheard of by most producers, fusing analog and digital to create something completely out of this world.
From tracks like “Good L_ck (Yo_’re F_cked)” which sound like something straight out of a neo-futuristic punk rock dive bar, to the soft and somber “Just Like You” that swells with acoustic guitars, modular synths and melodic vocals into an epic cinematic ballad. Every track brings something completely unique yet distinctly Celldweller to the table. Equal parts score and soundtrack to a science fiction movie that hasn’t been created yet, this album delivers an unparalleled experience that transports each listener to their own little world inhabited by all of the iconic characters presented throughout the chapter cycle leading up to the release of the final album.

This track is pure fun, the progression is always varied, basically formula never remains the same, expertly mixing metal, electronica and pop '80 sort of style. Klayton has developed a sound all its own and the quality is outstanding, he seems very inspired, well done.

Especially with all the "Factions" in this album so far. It will be sort of an epic badass story-telling concept album. They seem like they're used for breaks to give implied story with their atmosphere just like the "Cell 01, Cell 01, and Cell 03" tracks on the first album. Which I love and think is fantastic and absolutely brilliant!

Man, this is fuckin' great! The lyrics are cheesy as all hell, but I kinda feel like that was intentional; in a lot of humorous scenarios showcased in the media, the hopeless romantic brags and promises ridiculous things in an effort to impress his love (which more often than not ends in failure).

Exactly. It obviously was intentionally cheesy. Who writes "I fought a monster a mile high, arm-wrestled twenty octopi." And expects it to be taken as anything other than sarcasm. I think the lyrics were clever, and dare I say it... cute. I also feel like it's quite deceptively dark.

I loved it and I can FINALLY dance my butt off to Celldweller! :D I actually liked that it's danc-y and electronic-y, reminded me a bit of Scandroid (but ofc) in some parts, especially in the beginning and after 3mins. Enjoyable, really good for cardio sessions!!
