Repeater Records just announced that they are doing a complete You and I discography double LP release for early 2020. It will include EVERYTHING the band recorded!
I used to have a disco reprint? Or maybe that was only cd I guess that might be a true 12"?

I love the jazz clips between songs, they make the heavy moments feel even more intense.

I know your comment was from 2 year ago.. but just seeing this on CZcams now. I am Chris, played drums for You and I. The jazz clips is Billie Holiday. We did the same thing during our live shows. Had Billie Holiday playing on a small boombox continuously in the background while we played.
Indian Summer played Bessie Smith over all their live shows and recordings so when things got quiet, you heard some like 1890's soul singer.

Playing Off the Story is one of the heaviest songs ever recorded. The clean vocals haven't aged that well but you can't deny how influential these guys were.

no way are you kidding me? When I first heard you and I I fell in love so quickly how it was all spastic from soft spoken to... There aren't too many bands that will destroy me more than this one right here. I even love the band name. Especially with the screams right. YOU and I and when I am impersonating you oh man pure love poetry and just rage and yes!!! Not to mention redesiging the way the songs are done in the head or how to construct my own. There's probably not a more influential band than this one right here that has impacted me and it's all about the screams to soft spoken words and the way the different screams are done... Especially simultaneously where it seems like pure chaos and yet it's all magically woven in the tapestry of song, Trust me you don't ever want to learn about my childhood you couldn't handle the truth.
This album never left my rotation
geoff from Thursday lived with the lead singer of this band for a while, his vocals can be heard on various Full Collapse songs
just to clarify.. It was our guitarist Tom who lived with Geoff. Although, Tom did take lead on vocals for a few songs. Justin was the main lead singer until he took over bass duties during the final year or so.
