You are so right Steven!!!
Mike Mangini just said "Hold my beer"
Pretty bad ass man!! Could NEVER get Journey to give me a cool riser like this but NOPE!!
He Deen , Old British friend of Ross Valory Simon Dickinson, met you before and gave RV a bass one time. Happy New Year, Miss you M8.
Two words...BUDDY RICH!! This guy couldn't hold a candle to Buddy!! Jesus!! I can do what he's doing!! Not that hard!! I just don't have a spinning riser!😂
Sandy Hancock alright then do it
Cool, so go do it in sold out arenas too. Oh wait...
What about doing it ( in church on Sunday for free)

Q: What does Jesus have to say about drumming? Think on it and give all Glory to God.
1980s Drummer from "APRIL WINE" was Phenominal and My second all time Behind NEIL PEART. And Alex of " MANA" is A Badass too. I've seen all three Magnificent Drummers in Colorado USA. 🥁 2-26-21.
Impresionante 👏👏👏👌👌👌
Alex is one of my favorite drummers, he is schooled in rudiments and molds it into his personality. I like drummers who try to be the best THEY can be as opposed to drummers who copy cat other drummers.
WOW!!!! just WOW!!!!
I love you alex
Abundan jaja

Good rock drummer, plays well and keeps the beat with some interesting and energetic playing. As a solo drummer he has no where near the ability of today's top drummers 🤷🏻♂️
As a solo drummer he has nowhere near the ability of Buddy Rich 60 years ago.
Current music today? It's all I Mac...
This guy is incredible... especially for a young man who was homeless on the streets of Miami... then he ends up becoming a member of a band that has sold out Arenas and stadiums for several decades. . He does credit the greatest of the greatest as is inspiration John B. NEAL P. et al. . Most drummers would love to have even 15% of his net worth..
@@seandavis2520 net worth doesn't equal talent and a sob story doesn't equal jack shit lol
That's what I sound like playing after taco Tuesday and tequila.plus listening to Rush and Van Halen..Rock on!!

I hear Neil Peart and Randy Castillo, RIP to both with all reverence and respect...
How many drummer did you see drumming ever? :D
Wow I'm speechless
I definitely wouldn’t go that far.. Mike Portnoy is someone you should really have a look at first. Just sayin..
For me Alex is one of the greatest drummers of the world. The way he plays his music, the band mana has a lot of influence from music all over the world, and for me that's what makes Alex a incredible drum player. Not just for this solo, but also for all the songs he plays.
And may as well take a listen to Danny Carey while he's at it!
asael perez - Not the best drum solo in the history of mankind though.
Milan- Dany Carey definitely a Top 5 candidate!..
Portnoy is the real deal, it all seems effortless to him. Not sure I have ever seen him solo but I can only guess its amazing.
Beast Fart of the year!
Alex una sola palabra MAGNIFICO
John Bonham? Ever heard of him.
Probably they don't
Loser
Barrymore Barlow, ever heard of him? He played with Jethro Tull for close to 10 years. Google what John Bonham had to say about him.
@@johnapryorjr To be honest I have never heard of him but I watched and read about him and I agree he is very good.
I just don't like the clickbait title of this video.
Jajajaja Alex es un exelente baterista pero the best drum solo in the history of mankind, come on!!
Solid with a great visual. Love love the kit setup. Was it the best? I don't know what defines best. But Neil Peart wrote, yes actually wrote a book on soloing. I see this phenomenal drummer here play things I saw Neil do years ago. Try reading "Anatomy Of A Drum Solo". Until then, thanks for sharing and lets enjoy both.
Let's see 360 degrees Mr. Peart did that in the 1980's then Mr. Van Halen in the 1980's.
Mr. Gonza'lez is good but, nothing new.
I dont know but i think Carl Palmer was the one who started all, i dont know if was somebody else did it before, anybody knows?
Carl Palmer in the '70s
now i understand why my neighbor would get angry and call the cops on me when i played my drums in my bed room back when i was in jr high and high school
I.ve had that done alot but I still did it anyway and when I hooked them up to some power BOOM it was on
Not bad... Now go watch Neil Peart do 4 different beats with his limbs at the same time..

I agree ! Neil Peart and Simón Philips ? It is the next level man ! Alex is good but nothing to do with these drum monsters !
What about Stwart Copeland ?
How about John Bonham
Good drummer! But there’s many others worthy of the title “The best”
Hi Cisco that was my nickname while in the navy i agree with you totally great stuff not the very best
The band he is in is the best selling spanish rock band ever.
Perroon mi Aleex Animal gonzales
Neil Peart mastered drum soloing before this guy was born.
he's a drumline quad player that eventually incorporated his feet. seen it way too many times.
GRANDE ALEX
Godsmack drum battle!

good stuff
He does rock. Is the he the best of all time? Not sure, there’s so many great drummer’s that came far far before him and everyone is just repeating what they’ve heard since the 70’s rock n roll era. Still, he is a great performer and has solid chops.
This drum solo is a whole bunch of NOPE! Greatest my ass.
Its definitely a one way express ticket Sorry About Your Chops Town.
Buen baterista excelente nivel Neal Peart...
Nothing I've had not heard before in drum solos.Way better solos out there on CZcams!
He is good, he just isn't close to Neil Peart.
Isn’t close for sure, miles in front of Mr. Pearl, technically speaking.
@@zenos.5315 Wrong

I like Alex Gonzalez but that is definitely not the best solo in the history of mankind.
I think they say that as BAIT to get views. I have seen many that say this kind of stuff and then you're expecting something earth shatteringly good. and you get some average drummer doing basic rudimentary drumming.
Is that this is the best solo of all time is seriously a stretch I could think of five drivers out the type of my head that would blow this dude away warming up
Drummer
It's good and entertaining, that's what's important. Best? Not even close.
Abrazos
