This video is a way to make a used hard disk into a grinding machine seated using a 12v adapter.

Hello. So i want to build one of these but i know about -200% about electronics in the way of regulators. Resistors etc 😅 i was wondering if i can solder a 12v adapter straight to the HDD so its just plug and play or do i need the other parts? Great video :)

I didn't understand why you used IC 7805; if you had the HD board at hand. Was it a Hacking so that the Motor does not turn off after some time? Thank you

You need to connect the sata data wire 3and 5 or 2 and 4 together

Yes I too observed it stops running after a while, shorting the pins 3 and 5 of data line is the solution
