I am that person unfortunately haha. I wasn't able to take classes but went once in a while to social dance, for years.. now I finally can take classes and I suck at it haha My level is intermediate without knowing any techniques... that's probably awkwardly painfull to watch... and I often don't understand what men ask me to do. FE, I dance salsa as if it's merengue so hips and shoulders the opposite way! well wish me luck to unlearn that! :D

A quick question for your - when (at what level) would you recommend to start social dancing? I've heard some say as soon as possible, even with 2-3 figures is good to go (basic steps, dile que no and enchufa).

+Dance Dojo Thank you for quick response. I totally agree with what your are saying in this video. The only connection between my question and this video is social dancing (and salsa itself lol).
Getting back to what your are saying - to start social dancing ASAP (taking the classes of course). So you mean that knowing just 2-3 figures (as I gave an example before - basic steps, dile que no and enchufa) is enough to start social dancing?
