It's Animal Crossing. There ain't no storyline. Just more characters and events to partake in as well as stuff to expand your town and quality of life.
EDIT: Actually, the only Animal Crossing game that had some sort of storyline was City Folk. You had to jump from special character to special character just to get it and in a sequence of 15 days.
If you want a storyline, you should play a different game. Animal Crossing never really had a storyline

@@Strawberry95shortie but they know they're releasing a customizable game in an international market. You have to think of different textures and skin tones when making games like that. Other studios do that, they can too. There really isn't an excuse.

@@sombrashibe Well, they clearly HAVE thought of it now. Also, you have to consider that a large portion of the major holiday events in ACNH aren't widely celebrated in Japan (for instance, Halloween and Thanksgiving) so you already know they're thinking of that international audience.
@@sombrashibe In all fairness, it is their game and they have the right to include or exclude whatever and whoever they want, and it is your right to not buy it if you don't like that. Also it's not they completely excluded different races altogether, we had different skin tones and black hair already, they just added black hair specifically for girls now.

Why did you guys make it so difficult to get christmas recipes and decorate your island!!! I spend an entire weekend just trying to pop balloons and I got one recipe. So disappointed that my town won't be ready in time for Christmas
same :( i popped like 10 balloons, talked to villagers, found bottles on the beach, and none of them were christmas diys. the only one i have is the one isabelle gave us.
Yeah I'm not sure why they can't make it like Halloween, where villagers gave you recipes so most people, playing regularly, could get them all by the actual holiday. It's 2 days before Christmas and I farmed balloons for HOURS today and now have 3 Christmas decorations.

@@omoaub Not sure how far you are in to paying off your loan(s) but it makes sense that you have to pay it off. Each house upgrade gives you more storage to begin with.
Tbh this gives me hope that we’ll eventually get Brewster, gyroids, etc. this actually shows that Nintendo’s listening. Still prob gonna be a long while tho which is still cool

Oh, I have a feeling we will. I've talked with some of my villagers recently and some of them talk about how they like their coffee prepared. Some of them also brought up Gyroids. And I did a bit of research and I found out that's new dialogue that wasn't in earlier versions of the game.
A part of my brain doesn’t even feel like this is real, like so many gaming companies refuse to listen to their players and now that it’s actually here in front of my face i just can’t comprehend it
