Depending on the fee since Bayern seems to be being a difficult as well ; De Ligt could be more value for money than Branthwaite in terms of more immediate impact. Especially MDL the finished article with big club and winning experience but not for what Bayern are currently demanding. With us tight on funds have to negotiate that down. Branthwaite been dragging on quite a bit, still a bit raw and developing and likely overpriced. Though Jarrad may be more content to rotate with Yoro if Licha actually stays fit this season and is essentially a LCB who can rotate with Licha as well. Have to see how negotiations go.
We do need a midfielder asap , by far our biggest issue last term and have not addressed that at all yet. I'd like a CM signed next given we at least have a new CB currently on the tour. And we need to sort some more sales sooner rather than later ; funds seem to be holding up further business right now.
