    That is smart. How come I couldn’t think of that. I’ve been trying to remove the front wheel all day without the 22mm axle tool. Thank u so much.

    You are a gentleman and a scholar. And all your videos will be found by our ancestors and aliens in the far future and be archived as digital archeological findings where they will get Nobel peace prizes for preserving your creations. You just don’t know the magnitude of your work yet lol. Thank you!

      Thank you! But wouldn't aliens have some sort of mind ability to just wish the parts off the bike...that probably flys like somethin off starwars😁

    You can use the spark plug socket backwards and use a short extension to loosen the bold.

    Thanks for the upload. Some idiot stole my bike and now it's in my house all banged up. I removed ALMOST everything and so now I have to do a fork job and replace the seals and this helped with a few steps of the process so thanks! Be sure to check out my channel in the future for the put together

      Awesome. I went threw the forks also but didn't do a video. They aren't that bad after doing it.

    • @ccruz247
      @ccruz247 Před 7 lety

      Piston Slap okay maybe you can help me out. You know the red part of the fork at the top. After you unscrew that is that took from Kawasaki necessary to take out the spring? Or did you get around that ? If you don't understand what I mean I can post a video.

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  Před 7 lety +1

      Calvin C so the red fork cap I purchased a tool from.race tech for it. just under the cap is another internal nut that you need a special to get it loose. it can be purchased from race tech also. I believe they are all around 50 dollars. There is a channel "Dave moss" he did a video on rebuilding the showa BPF that has great explanations on how to.

    I am removing my front axle RIGHT NOW, and felt a tangible sense of dread watching that wrench bend at around 7:00. I guess I need to use more force...

    What brand of headlift are you using? The vortex front tree stand smashes the nose on my 2020 zx6r

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  Před 2 lety

      Its another name. I got it used. If.i hade to guess I would think it's a track side. Also mine was close or rubbed the nose a little.

  • @YurvanGor
    @YurvanGor Před 2 lety

    Hey what pin are you using on the triple tree stand? The opening seems to be much larger than the standard pins that come with my kit.

    • @PistonSlap
      @PistonSlap  Před 5 lety +1

      Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I had to go out and measure it and then change it over to metric and then check something else to make sure it was right so the head of the bolts are 7/8 or 22 mm hope that helps

    • @Victic005
      @Victic005 Před 7 lety

      Piston Slap I just flex the fender after removing the brake lines from the holder. I did it when I did the brake job, replacing the pads. I have a pic of it.

    • @IdahoDualSport
      @IdahoDualSport Před 7 lety

      The Jacket, yes! I rode yesterday and it wasn't bad at all. It was about 86 degrees at around 3pm in the afternoon and with the vents open I was good, even when stopped. I was pleasantly surprised :) I don't think I'll be wearing it in 95 though unfortunately. I'm going to have to swtich to the Mesh in that kind of heat.

      Yeah I believe it was yesterday or the day before..I seen 97 around 530pm. Sitting at the Eagle and Fairview light. I thought I was going to melt!
