I work with stone benchtops, and one of the most complex parts is measuring templates.I don't think this is accurate enough
It's been a great piece of kit for us for many years. We scan hundreds of our clients templates each week using these without any tolerance issues.

WHY NOT JUST MAKE A CAD DRAWING ?
thank you for the comment - we do CAD drawing also but when we are supplied with a template this is the best way to create an accurate DXF file for production
