- Co-founder of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Floyd Shivambu has dumped the party for the MK Party. Shivambu announced his resignation from the EFF during a media briefing. EFF MP Mzwanele Manyi has also dumped the party for the MK Party. Manyi joined the EFF in 2023 from the ATM. Political analyst Prince Mashele says Shivambu was the brains behind the EFF and the party is now left with Julius Malema who is just the face .

Prince Mashele articulated Shivambo's move very well except for the overexaggeration that Malema is an empty head who brings nothing to the table. Glad that the interviewer added that Malema is a mobiliser. There is no conspiracy. It is a fallout between two people who know so much about each other. Shivambo and the gang have been playing puppets for so long with no prospects of advancement, batteries were bound to die. I feel for Adv Busisiwe Mkhwebane, but maybe she has the energy for puppeteering. Shivambo had no option but to seek refuge in a party dealing with teething problems of its own. Shivambo is like Shilowa, waking up to find that he is a nobody in the party he co-founded. Malema is like Lekota, holding on to the helm until. Most of the people here may not know who Shilowa is. Brilliant analysis, Mashele. Except poking fun at Malema’s weight loss is crude, immature and unprofessional. There are many reasons why people lose weight and it can happen to anyone, including Mashele. Focus on the issues. We are not here for gossip.

Given that EFF has built significant credence among African youth politically, I'm curious to know if there is a structured approach to fostering and managing innovation.
EFF has created serious compelling political business case and value amongst the African youth. To elevate that power it must offer this awaken youth economic tangibles. Regardless of the fact that they are governing or not EFF must deliver to its promise " Economic Freedom in this life time" especially to its dedicated youth membership and African youth at large. It must learn from the ANC that prolonged political activism without real economic tangibles creates nartistic political leadership & the following .
Prominent politicians will continue to recognise their membership powers and find expression in a manner that make sense to their political ambitions. Floyd and President Zuma political changes are not the only one we are going to experience in this political environment. Many more will follow across political parties and political institutions. This uncertainty is a risk that will have to be managed properly by political organisations. Those organisation who experience it first have an opportunity to build robustness and new profound directions. Some Partes will struggle & crumble and disappear in this political space.
