I Iike the diversity of houses in this neighborhood, but they’re way too close together! Would be nice to see some lawn + backyard space
Yeah it’s so sad that our people do not incorporate really greenery into their developments. No appreciation for landscaping. TBH tho, what percentage of our population can even afford a home like this????? Sure the home has so called luxury, but their air will be saturated with toxins with no trees to help improve air quality.
It is because it is Lagos. There is limited space. Its is a metropolis... kinda like nsw york city... there is no space. You would have to drive outside the city to see greenary
Dipo great point...
@@dipo2142 true there is limited space and land costs a lot but if we fail to incorporate greenery in our cityscapes in West Africa, our health will suffer and our cities will not be attractive to tourists and residents alike

No place like home bro, I'm Sierra leonean living in the diaspora but Nigeria is my home too, I can't wait to get myself one house in Lagos Nigeria.
Nice wish

Sheku @ you are welcome 😚
This house doesn’t give me a home feel, it’s has a Airbnb, paid party vibe going on.
Elle Elle you can always make it a home by getting the right interior decors.
When buying house, you Usually dont get the furniture, its just in it go give you An idea. After buying it you can always give it a make-over.
C Will Usually everyone knows that houses don’t come with the furniture it’s stage with, and as I said it gave me a short term vibe. If it’s your taste and style then that’s great. When selling a house usually not everyone will like the house. Also I wasn’t referring to the furniture.
Lex Gorre It gave me that vibe based on the interior design and lighting and overall floor plan, the furniture is just for staging so I am aware it doesn’t come with the house. Thanks
Elle Elle exactly!!!! Like a party and go kinda feeling, can’t imagine living in this even if I could afford it.
For $800k, this property might be well priced per western comparisons. I just can’t get over having my neighbors’ roof and windows as my view every time I look outside.
Emiolas and Family you are right. Like most houses on the island. Quite over priced. I can imagine taking $800k into any US and I almost certain to get better value for the money. The prices in Nigeria are however driven up by the demand and really nothing else, hence value can’t be compared with western options outside the country. Give me 300M naira and I will get atleast 8 properties not even 15 mins away. The brick and Mortar is where the value is and not in the gadget
@Somtochi Sharon JOHNNY-CHUKWU it's overpriced especially if I have to deal with power outage, traffic etc.
Somtochi Sharon JOHNNY-CHUKWU yeah I know. A one bedroom flat in Knightsbridge cost more than $800k. But what you are really paying for is the postcode which has got quite a few places( being modest) of attraction and amenities. The otedola’a as well as other affluent Nigerians have their homes there, it is not uncommon to see them walking about because everything is just minutes away by foot. You will still need a good water treatment in Osapa London and most places on the island and the roads.... let’s not even go there
TBH for 800000$ you should have alot of privacy. Not where your neighbours are soo close they can hear you whispering.
@Somtochi Sharon JOHNNY-CHUKWU for that kind of money the country not the estate has to give me power 247, good roads, water and not me having to sink a borehole and it should be walking distance to great parks etc. I live in Canada and I know what $800k usd can get you. Real estate in Lagos is overpriced, and as for demand being the factor how many people can afford $800k usd or get a mortgage for that amount?
For $800K, I think the house is overpriced.
Funny thing is that house is actually better than some houses here in canada for that price.
Build one😅😅😅
I think so too.
A $450k in USA is better than this and more spacious
Samuel Olatunde obviously, disposable income and demand is higher there
Reserve that house for me bro!
Ok sir! It’s waiting. I have put your name in the document!! 😁
Wode maya it is done.
Woda, so good to see you here, I love your channel too!
i am MAYA supporting the continent bro'. #BLACKGUYWITHGOODCREDIT
AYYYYYYYYA MAYA You ballin like that now huh?
Still searching for the selling point of this house oh. The neighbours are so close to the building, one can easily shout each other’s names.
The home looks too tight too, no space anywhere. We should be seeing a massive garden and play area with trees in the compound. The bathroom too .. wondering why it’s this expensive .. e no make am..
Seriously it is a basic house. No space, no garden, no outdoor area, no nice pool. Just some overpriced nonsense
Exactly my thoughts its just basic to me, rooms are small no lawn, no compound but its cool though
You are paying for the technology. Your basic house does don't have automatic windows, etc and movie room.
OG Lol.. even your defence doesn’t sound homely .. I dunno it’s just didn’t seem like a luxury home at all
Oge Ngwaba exactly no COMPOUNNDDDDDD.
Everything about this house shouts luxury! This is definitely an expensive dope house. Thanks for sharing Tayo.
Thanks for watching !!. Appreciate you!
@@TayoAinaFilms you are welcome 😊
Only 3 category of people in nigeria can afford this house. Politicians, business men, and matured yahoo yahoo men.🤦♂️🤦♂️
there are also genuine business men and women that can afford that
Pastors too
a real business man won't waste money like this instead he will want to invest more to make more
😂😂😂🤣
You’re right
As a West-African in North America, it makes me proud to see that the luxury properties in Ghana + Nigeria continue to rival million dollar properties all over the world. The house is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm sure that whoever is blessed enough to acquire that property will enjoy all of those amazing amenities [hopefully it also comes with a generator 😉].
As a real-estate professional, you did a great job showing the property. I love your vibrant energy and relaxed personality. I can think of one couple who have been looking for a property like this in Nigeria and or Ghana; I'll be sharing the video with them. As one professional to another, may I suggest you wear a Black shirt when showing properties or filming, so that perspiration from all of the heat isn't so evident. It draws the eye away from focusing on the amenity you're highlighting. Also, when staging the property for sale, I'd encourage the homeowner to have the pool cleaned, so that prospective buyers aren't put off by the dirty pool. It can easily be covered with a tarp after cleaning, and only exposed during a showing. I would also not show that storage room with the packed boxes during filming, or have the homeowners at least stack those boxes in an orderly fashion, when showing the property. Prospective buyers love to see as much open space as possible, in order to imagine themselves and their items occupying the property.
Great job, once again. I love to see us continue to win, and I wish you the best in your professional endeavours. God Bless. 👑
My friend there's no such thing like luxury house in ghana those house which called luxury are not
@@jeffreyj4551 lol...you obviously don't know Ghana
I honestly don't know what you meant by "hopefully it also comes with a generator" because I hope you know that not every part of Nigeria suffers from inconsistent electricity and as you heard from this video this area is for the *rich* so it most definitely won't have inconsistent electricity.
I don't know what y'all Ghanaians think of us Nigerians smh🤦🏿♀️
Edit: good advice btw🇳🇬

Great job Tayo. You make watching empty houses entertaining to watch with a comedic undertone. You are very good at this

So after spending 300M, I only have to stretch my neck and I’m in the nosy neighbours parlour. No.
Exactly what I'm thinking!!
Exactly. You can't even Skinny dive in your own 300million naira pool
Solja88 😀😁
No offence, but if you stretch your neck and end up in someone’s parlour, you’re the nosy neighbor. 😋
ur acting like u can afford it
Nice video. Great job Tayo! 🙏🏽🤗🙏🏽
I enjoyed the review of the property. Much support from South Africa
Tayo, you are an eye opener, an appetite inducer, a catalyst that stirs we the youth on the need to work hard at youthful age, make good money and live a good life.
I wasn’t just watching this exotic mansion for entertainment sake but highly motivated that it’s possible to own such a home like this if one doubles his/her hustle.
With God all things are possible 🙏
House looks 💯 but For 800k, I don't want to see (😒 5:57) my neighbors' roof, I need some... Enough space... A garden... Few 100m away, yes I can have neighbors... I need some privacy, if I sneeze, I may get a "bless you" from neighbors 🤣🤣 thanks, but no thanks
Absolutely, with a nice lawn too.
You want space spend over a billion, but a large expanse of land in ikoyi and build your house the way you want. You can get whatever you want you just have to have the money and the reality is this is what 300 million can buy in lagos.
@@nnamdiopara4883 then I'd build my own instead, but still for 800k you should be able to get a house with large garden +swimming pool in most places in Africa.
I understand that Ikoyi is a very expensive neighborhood
You can't have space in Lagos, come to my village I promise to give you alot of space 🤨

Excellent and informative, video Tayo Aina.
The open concept is breathtaking!! ♥️ from 🇺🇸
If I had known, I would have use my school fee to buy land here 2001 and 2002 . Osapa was like desert those days.
Omo onile and government wahala would have snatched the land from you anyway. You made the right choice.
Lyonbobo Osze Nah bro My pops had a massive land in eti osa he acquired so many years back, later on after spending so much money court seized the land and that was it no refunds at all 🤦🏿♂️
Agwu Dennis they’re allowed to just seize you’re land without compensating you?? That’s fucked up on all levels! People should be rioting. You can’t take people’s land and not pay them for it wtf. And I bet the government has enough to pay people correctly too, fucked up government.
Prince Diop They claimed the people that sold the land to my father had an unresolved family issue over the land dispute
Akintonde Oyedeji Thanks 🙏🏿

So close to the neighbors, no privacy.
In America u buy land from the banks or government but in Nigeria u usually buy from black land owners to build.. the reason am mentioning this to u is cos, land is expensive.. nobody is gonna hand u hectares of land for free space.. and the government doesn’t regulate what u decide to do with ur land.. let me say, ur a landowner.. would u rather give someone hectares of free space, or use that extra space to build a mansion..
@@jamesbando8943 Eeeeh, they are not called "black land owners", they are just called land owners here. You can miss us with your labels.

I truly feel like just because it in Nigeria people will find a problem with it even tho you won't find a SMART house this modern for less than this price in America.

The house no too big and i like that. Most space in it is functional. Some kinda sustainable energy would have made it a 2020 luxury home indeed
Kene Ezeike it probably has that but the media will never cover that because it is in Africa🙄
Happyscurls why would cover. African need to cover their own thing and stop waiting white peoples to do it because they’re not African so they don’t care of Africa
That is pretty dope compared to a certain $1M house in Kenya, my only issue is lack of greenery. You are good at this, start a property show.
@@Angel-vw1he Yea, the compound is small
Xtine O, Lagos has no land that’s why.

Dope. dope. dope. content every now and then. Thanks for sharing.
😏😏😏 . Thank you sir !
Wow. Funny how you can get a full blown mansion and extra land space for the same price here in the states. This house is just technology saturated, too tiny for the price :(
What you are buying is not the house persee but status and network!
@Munachee...That is a LIE. On average a mansion like this in the states would go for millions, especially in the Northeast not $800k. Gtfoh!
All depends on location.. this house in LA is $5m
You're right, but that's just what I've seen in Atlanta. The houses in Atlanta for that price (and less) are like 6 bedroom with a big lawn and pool. My parents bought a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom house in the suburbs for less than half this price in Atlanta.
@@alaerelifestyle that will be the ghetto side of Atlanta
Beautiful house..but where is the greenery and space? Great tour though, thanks.
Nice one. I like this
As proud to see this video. I hope everybody in the world sees it and people finally say that we are rich, beautiful, ambitious and educated people.!!!
Sweat O it's a sign of good health some people have sicknesses that makes them unable to sweat
😂I love your perspective !!!
Like Prince Andrew
Maisonnette means small house...so it shouldn’t be a first choice , the price is over bloated ..🤣😂😅
$800k worth of semi house , no privacy...the neighbors actually have a direct view of your kitchen, bad quality construction with ikea products for furnishings and kitchenette.....🤣
Master bedroom like a 20feet container box..🤣😂
That semi house should be valued at $50k maximum if not the corruption from land purchase, materials acquisition, retro commission, all sort of bribes ....
non regulation of property prices in Nigeria....
Finally, there’s nothing luxury in that cube called house ..unless electric windows volets and curtains are part of luxury in your definition.😄
Luxury is when you relax on your terrace, neighbors can’t telescope your wife.
Luxury is when nobody knows who comes in and goes out from your house....
You're so on point😂😂😂
Thank u
Made in God's Image only 20 millions inhabitants it’s not huge for a big city. It will have 80 millions inhabitants in 2100 where Nigerian will live ? And this is too expensive for a third world city with power outrage
Made in God's Image Nigerian always think they’re the best in Africa when your country is already overpopulated.
Beautiful house, it’s small and there’s too much proximity to the other houses but that’s Lagos. I really love the design and some of the design decisions taken to make the best use of the space. Lovely house ❤️❤️❤️
Its great to now such about Nigeria. Africa is beautiful
Pretty house but there’s something not quite right about it for such an exorbitant price. It looks ordinary. I guess the price is inflated mostly because of the location.
Location n automatic stuff
What luxury real estate isn't inflated ??? You'd rather L.A right
Beautiful house. But it’s definitely overpriced. Also not a fan of the way it looks/structure, it shouldn’t have been squeezed into such a small plot. The rooms excluding the master bedroom are all small. Kitchen is small too. Pls do more videos on more affordable property and apartments for sale. I would really love to purchase something for myself soon. For younger people like us who are still coming up, we would love to see properties for under 30m that we can invest in
