@22:40 I've a dbt.. interest rate are remain fixed once loan sanctioned or fd done for a period how can one borrow loan on 1.5% and repaying it 5% later...pls clarify....

If SVB have purchased fixed rate of interest securities, as you said they won't be able to hedge it with interest rate options that's a bit mistake the only way is to enter into a swap contract or a forward contract mostly appropriate will be swap only this is my humble suggestion
