@@alexsvilla7962 you can have slicks and still roast them dummy… I have a 600hp foxbody with 10.5x28 slicks off my transbrake is useless rip the tires right up. Footbrake is a tiny bit better. This is a prepped surface with GLUE… a hellcat has terrible weight transfer ( stock suspension ) their stiff you need soft. Lower rebound to make the car raise up faster hence sending the weight faster to the back tires. But than again it’s all in the glue and prep work.

Then the launch control too. Put it back in comfort mode and do an easy 22+ mpg mixed driving. What a car?! I want one bad.

New rs3 has real Torsen Quattro system this one has the haldex system aka fake Quattro. If the new rs3 had the same mods it would’ve taken off from the dig. The hellcat losing is expected it’s stock tune racing a built rs3. Rs3 going slow off the line makes sense too haldex was struggling to get the power down.
That's 5 cylinder engine is amazing on the RS3 pocket rocket indeed ,have to give a shout-out to the hellcat for a RWD car to take off like that is awesome

@Race_Ready_1320 Ya pretty crazy what those are new. Plus mods n shop time your in pretty deep. Older ur s4 audis have a pretty similar 5 cylinder along with the s6 of those years. Not easy to find in good shape but they make good sleepers, are not crazy expensive to upgrade, and are not bad to work on. You can get a b5 s4 to scream too but they are a pain to work on sometimes and can be temperamental. I like the new R Audis but older ones have their place and usually have more character in my opinion.

Fastest stock engine with stock turbo RS3 are 9.7. A bunch of others 9.8 and 9.9’s. Just bolt ons. A bigger turbo will push it into 8’s. Fastest RS3 is 7.9. That’s Hank Iroz. Watch Hank race Ken Block in the twin turbo Hoonigan mustang. That video is awesome.
Obviously the RS3 will win the launch. But the top end power on the 2 cars is different. The hellcat will beat the RS3 pretty good top end. For ex. 60+ rolls. It’s like 2 different kind of cars muscle car vs Audi.

Most of us RS3 owners all had fast rear drive built cars. We are loving these German rockets. The RS3 holds a place in our hearts because of rally Group B days. That 5 cylinder is a legendary engine. It was banned in America until 2017.
