Iam an old Christian, grew up in churches in USA, these old hymns and especially this one touches my very core. I can't handle the modern music, it's loud and shallow.

Oh yes. The modern church needs more of this. We have allowed ourselves to be entertained into spiritual (and musical) imbecility. This is just another example of how the new may be flashier, but the old is better.

i have chanced upon a song in 2023 and i have listened to it about 20 times +, i didnt know it was connected to any revival. it has revived me before i got to know its connection to the whole welsh move.
i live in nr, ireland and same sir name as as scott clarke and echo the sentiment but no relatives no ..friends and old.... 73 and long for some one to to connect with,having christian beliefs makes you .very alone but a voice like this keeps me believing in a god of love the power of the beautiful music and the love of dogs has kept me going when sad to say human love has failed.from mother to all else.. leaving a worthless .sense of .being

Beautiful. Priday is sincere and pure in his rendition. I also love Hiraeth, a tune to a poem of William Williams, Pantecelyn, great hymn writer and the leader of an earlier revival. Ive tried to play it and sing it on youtube myself, but I wish someone like Priday would record it

This suggests that the pouring out of the spirit was/is not just on the day (singular) of pentecost. Also God poured out his spirit in the Old testament upon Israel. Ezekiel 39v29. We are also urged in Eph. 5 v18 to be filled with the spirit continually

Lived next door but one to Huw in Morriston Swansea . On many occasions we would hear him burst into song ,what a treat the neighborhood had.
