Ohh I love this idea!! Thanks for always making videos that we can actually understand. You explain step by step and that is very important thank you. Have an awesome day. HAPPY CRAFTING!!!!!😁
I’ve used the Dollar Tree mats and they cut beautifully! I use the basswood setting also, but I found it only needs 8 passes. Basswood setting is normally 16 passes. You may want to check the cuts anyway, as the blade could dull over time.
How much do you charge a fee and how much it is thank you have a wonderful day I love your watching your videos I'm learning a lot from it's my first time making Cricut maker
ok, bomb daddy, my issue is, i think the plexiglass i got is a tad thick! lol ive gone through the basswood setting with the maker about 28xs, then on chipwood for 24xs cuts, and it hasnt cut through yet!!!! grrrrrr.... sooooo, please HELP MEEEEE!!! lol😆😆😆😆
Wondering why you didn’t choose acrylic as your material to cut? I cut some the other day and just used the regular fine point blade. (I do have the Maker and a knife blade, but the fine point blade worked just great!)
This is how I make door mats, especially if I know I want to make more than one of the same design. Then I just tape it down very well with heavy duty masking tape and am very careful when I spray the paint (I usually use plasti dip or flex seal). They turn out great.
Yes - I played w a little star til I got it to cut thru. Pretty sure I tried cardboard setting. Just play w the machine and try materials til you find one that works. I cut out animal shapes.
Thank you for this video. Just bought a knife blade….now I need the maker 😆

Basswood setting is normally 16 passes.
You may want to check the cuts anyway, as the blade could dull over time.

How thick is the acrylic sheet?
UGH, mine does multiple passes and they don't align destroying the design. What am I doing wrong?

You can cut acetate with the fine point blade. There’s a setting for acetate. HTH

Can you do this with the Cricut Explorer 2?
