I have no problem with an age gap romance as long as the book doesn’t start when the fmc is a small child and the mmc is a friend of her family. The thought that a grown man can develop feelings for someone they gave piggybacks and sweets to as a child gives me the ick, especially when there’s spice 🤢

Just wanted to say thank you for the note on Dark Notes! It's a warning that never gets mentioned I feel like and it's the only one that will make me instantly put down/not like a book. I had that book on my TBR for a long time but I've removed it, so I appreciate the note!
Another forbidden teacher/student romance I think you would like is Secret Lucidity by EK Blair. I’m not sure if there’s an audio book but it’s right up your alley. I highly recommend it.
Yes there is an audio for this and it is one of my all time favorite student/teacher romances and no one can tell me otherwise LOL :)
My favorites on your list are Sweet Dandelion, Birthday Girl & The Doctor. A few that you may like if you haven’t read them already: Your Dad Will Do by Katee Robert, Always Been You by Q.B. Tyler, Don’t Kiss The Bride by Carian Cole and Playing for Keeps by Kendall Ryan
Confidence of Wildflowers was also my first and only age gap. I enjoyed the first one but I had to instantly DNF the second one because of her decisions. Just thinking about it annoys me LOL.
I think another category you could add is religious men who've taken a vow of celebacy.
Her Ruthless Duke by Scarlett Scott is a guardian/ward historical romance.
I started to lose hope Credence won't make it at the end of the Guardian category, just for it to get its own category! 😻😻😻😻🎉😹 It was sooooo good! Birthday Girl is one of my official summer reads, and can't wait!
