The people that designed this place are geniuses. The way the buildings are integrated with the surrounding nature is beautiful, complementing each other. Also the color palette they have chosen is perfectly suited to the white of the sand, the green of the vegetation and the blue of the sea.
Alila ❤ is one of my top favorite hotel brands. Alila and Aman built the most elegant and sophisticated modern hotels way before anyone could even try to compete with them in terms of design and quality furniture. I remember when Alila Villas Soori was opened like 15 years ago, I was a kid and that was the most beautiful hotel I had ever seen in my life. Made most newly built luxury hotels look completely dated in that time.

Can’t wait to see some Mediterranean hotels. Maldives are nice but very limited options of things to do and all hotels look very similar. European hotels are usually located in historic towns with amazing architecture and more dramatic landscape.
LTE has already toured and shown several resorts along the Mediterranean, particularly in Greece. That was a year or two ago, maybe more, I've lost track of time, but his videos of those places are spectacular.

@@Iamayoutuber069honestly, people just think of the Mediterranean as a “nothing to see here” kinda sea whereas there us honestly so much to do near that region.
@@Iamayoutuber069 personally to me mountains going straight to the sea create the most dramatic and spectacular landscape. For example I found videos from Bora Bora much more interesting because of the variety of nature.

The is as close to heaven on earth as it gets. Some people on here saying its boring. Omg give me that boring please, No noise except the ocean, this is peace and the canvas of natural beauty. I loved it when on one of your videos you would have shown your face on a mirror - your blurred yourself out --> extremely unusual in this show-ff, celebrity-obsessed world we live in.
A brilliant location for me. I dive most days, and my wife enjoys the beach life with a good book. Outside of that there really isn’t that much to do.

As always one resort after another especially in the island paradise gem of islands of the Indian Ocean - Mauritius, The Seychelles, and now the Maldives. Outstandingly beautiful in nature and the respect, admiration for the preservation of the atolls, keys, reefs, islands and their native flora and fauna as well as the beaches. This Alila Khothaifaru is breathtaking with the minimalist architecture, the light woods, the modern yet classic, stylish, furniture which is functional for the climate and the locale, the utmost in the amicable, kind, loving, professional staff all over the resort, the amenities, the bars, the infinity pools with salt water which is by far healthier and cleaner for the environment and one self, the bars with food menus, the restaurants and specialty of restaurants from other countries, the spas, gymnasiums, water sports non motorized, day trips, et al. The music so beautiful to match the resorts tour in the day and the mystique of the night. You transport us there and have us enjoy with gusto each resort and each facility and specialty. Thank you for being the best vlogger. Note: The only thing that I did not enjoyed and/or would not enjoy in my future trip to this Alila resort is the open bathroom with a wild and native garden which may have unwanted bugs such as mosquitoes, nats, spiders, snakes, lizards.

Such a beautiful atoll. Hotel looks very modern and def minimalist…maybe a bit to much for my taste. The island looks very small. Is it smaller than Joali Being? On the other hand such incredible beaches ! Wow. Just heavenly. Thanks for another great vid production. Look forward to your Dubai travels soon. Cheers!

It's right at the edge of the maldives, looking at a fishing spot, that's why you see the tanker and cargo ships from the resort. Probably one thing of some making this a sub-1k$ per night resort.

An exquisite minimalistic design language that truly highlights the island itself rather than the buildings...in a luxurious way.
For me this is the benchmark for how to setup a resort in the Maldives.

@@paradonym The resort's landscape and facilities are unparalleled.
Architecture wise, it screams European countrysides for me so I don't buy it as an island resort.
Overall I would say it is the best family gateway in the Maldives hands down.
thanks for the beautiful video, I noticed there are touches of Frank Lloyd Wright design idiom in the exquisite architecture.
With these videos of this channel I can know these places that I think I can never be... I can't afford them and I'm a doctor.

This was most definitely my fav resort that you stayed at on your latest visit to the Maldives. However, that overwater villa that you showed has a shocking lack of privacy. I hope there are blinds on the windows in that bathroom. ;)

It's pretty affordable too compared to the other hotels. Seeing prices from like 870€ per night. For that one trip in the decade you do anyway, you could actually do this. Keep in mind flight and transfer adds at least another 1000-1200€ on top. You could probably ask for 830€ a night or included seaplane airport transfers when they have to be at 870€.
