Nissan Frontier Front Recovery Hook

Nissan Frontier Front Recovery Hook. Needed to pull some logs with my Nissan Frontier front bumper? Found there was nothing to tie to? Found nuts attached to the bottom of the frame. Bought some hardware and made a recovery chain. Easy and cheap. Not a professional. Video is entertainment not instruction.

THOSE HOLES ARE FOR ADDING A FRONT RECEIVER HITCH. YOU CAN GET THEM ON EBAY AND AMAZON.

receiver hitch that means those nuts are on the vehicle's frame. Therefore it is 100% completely safe to use it as recovery hook.
Some vehicles have hooks at the front, however they're not designed for pulling if it's not mounted on the frame. Those type hooks are for tying down canoe and kayaks.

how well does those bolts and chains work for you? Does it work pretty well and is sturdy?

Change those bolts out with some grade 8's.
