I think this movie is made for everyone but will really hit you if you're more experienced. It's a good lesson for kids and teens but they won't appreciate it as much as older people do. I watched this when i was 14 when all i wanted to do was musical theater and thought it was my purpose life. I was also in and out of the mental hospital because i thought my life was meaningless. This really touched my soul (ha) back then and i changed my thoughts

Idk if this has been mentioned but both Up and Soul are directed by Pete Doctor. They have similar themes and also some of the most powerful montages in cinema history imo. He’s an absolute legendary filmmaker
