Paulina draws attention. She is impossible to ignore.
Wait until you see the drummer *sing lead* while still drumming furiously! Dust to Dust or Narcisista (in Spanish) for examples.
Pau is wonderful, Ale the Bass player is also supporting that drum beat, so you get a blended powerfull sound, all of them them have that stage presence. During an interview way back in the day, someone suggested they were prodigies, Dany leads singer responded "we do not see ourselves that way, what you see is untold hours of practice, individually and as a group, a lot of sacrifices we made over the years. We love what we do and want this to be our career"
Yes, as I understand it they practice individually for 1 to 2 hours a day and then as a group for another 1 to 2 hours at least! They are extremely talented but are also relentless in putting in the hours to get better every day!

Greart reaction and observations Asia and BJ!! Amazing The Warning are 21, 19 and 16 years old and have already written and arranged #44 original songs all by themselves! The oldest, Dany (Daniela) plays guitar, keyboards, lead vocals on 75% of their songs, backing harmonies. Pau (Paulina) plays drums, keyboards, lead vocals on 25% of their songs, backing harmonies. Ale` (Alejandra) plays bass, keyboards, backing harmonies. The drummer Pau writes around 75% of their songs. In her songs, she starts with a concept, then works on chord progressions and basic song structure on piano while adding lyrics. She then brings it before her sisters and together they transpose each individual instrument's part; making changes along the way. All 3 must unanimously approve of each instrument's part and each vocal melody and harmony before it becomes a completed song. Nothing is set in stone until it makes it through the gauntlet. Pau has said if not for her sisters, her songs would not be the same. Both Dany and Ale` write equally great songs; just not as many.

This is one of the best versions of any of their fantastic songs, imo. They're all fantastic but this one is the three of them in their basement, no backing tracks, live... and they just blast out a perfect rocker. So much sound from a trio!! They all sing great and each of them excel at their instruments.
That is what happened to me when i first discovered The Warning , i was instantly drawn towards Pau on drums , she does draw you in , yes .cheers guys .
I’m probably one of the few people who was instantly drawn in by Dany. It was always Dany for me from day 1. I consider myself the biggest Dany fan :)

The Villarreal sisters practicaly grew up in the family home basement studio, better known as "The Warning Cave". The room itself has changed very little in the past 9 or so years, but the band has changed a lot! Their iconic, nearly 23-million views, cover of "Enter Sandman" was performed here in 2014.

They did Dull Knives for a virtual show called de(Tour), broadcasted for Rolling Live studios, this was pre-recorded from their cave and it was a fantastic performance, exceptional video and sound quality. You know these girls rock.
We TWA all love these girls equally, if you want to see Pau's true personality watch her baking a cake video, I bet you'll love her even more afterwards she's so funny it's impossible not to love her.

The Warning make hard rock fresh and fun again ! Pau the drummer is amazing, she also sings very good while she's playing with same intensity. I love these young women. They are all so talented. And I too tend to always end up watching Pau on the drums. She is a beast. You guys need to go back and check out their cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman from 2012 in The Warning Cave. That was the performance that got them their big break and you get to see them in their infancy. Great reaction too!

I like a lot of different things on this. Especially I'd like to mention that bass lines and bass sound are thunderous.
When this song came out many people thought it was too short of a song to which the drummer Pau suggested "if you think it is too short just listen to it again". This song is part of a conceptual album, so you need to know the rest of the songs to understand better what the song is about. Thanks for this awesome reaction and sharing your thoughts on it. Dull Knives was written and performed well before the Queen of the Murder Scene album. It was incorporated, yes, but also stands on its own.
@@jase0910 Most of their QOTMS songs were written long before the album was released. I think the reason why some were performed before others was how they would fit the place where they were performed. A song like Crimson Queen would not fit on the Hell and heaven festival.

It's happening...you guys are getting drawn into The Warning rabbit hole - and it is so easy to do,they are just pure talent,watch them not performing and they are just totally carefree down to earth teens,honestly funny. Great reaction guys,and yes,Pau the drummer is just a magnet - not taking anything away from Dany or Ale,but she just draws you in,she certainly has some swag . They are Actually playing in "The Warning Cave" which is actually the basement in their home 🤘
Three sisters that all have the ability to sing lead as needed though the youngest (Ale - bass) prefers not to. All 3 write though most of their songs begin with the drummer, Pau, at a piano. All 3 started very young with classical piano training before picking up other instruments. Dull Knives is a track from their 2nd studio album called Queen of the Murder Scene. That one is a concept album that is best understood when listened to in order. This particular video is from the DeTour. It was a collaboration with multiple artists as a charity event to help out venues that the pandemic had closed. BTW, Pau is proof of the saying about big things in small packages; she is 5 ft. This video is from last year. Currently they are:
Dany - 21, vocals, guitar, keys
Pau - 19, vocals, drums, keys
Ale - 16, vocals, bass, keys
So far they have some older covers, an EP, two studio albums & a single plus the two singles that have been released to date from their 3rd studio album. You can also catch them in the game Rock Band 4 & the new Midnight Suns game coming out early next year.

This song is the Queen of the Murder Scene album. I recommend listening to this whole album in order for it tells a story. This song will make more sense when you do listen to the whole album.

This video cracks me up. This was a pandemic release. I believe it was a world wide collaborative effort to raise money for charity. Ale is dressed Like she is headed out for a night on the town. Dany is wearing torn jeans and a Scorpion T shirt. Pau, she is just wearing her usual kick it gear. Loved every second of it.

Let me strongly recommend you something: listen and react to all their second album "Queen of the murder scene" (from song 1 up to 13) in a row.
It's a concept album; a musical dark novel about love, obession and madness.
It's a masterpiece.
I suggest you to enjoy the live version of the entire album that they played in Mexico City at Lunario (in the title of every video you can read "live Lunario CDMX" or something similar).
You won't be disappointed...

I own there first 3 albums when they were independent now that they are with Lava big label not a fan of the water cooler mainstream sound. Ill always enjoy their own early stuff.
