But let's be honest here for a moment, when you get recoil bonuses while crouched or prone, realistically they are going to stay that way the entire game crouched or proned in a corner. They aren't going to push at all. This along with a fast TTK only promotes that more.

As for the "Run & gun takes no skill" comment that's purely how I've always preferred to played just being aggressive with weapons and constantly taking objectives or getting as many kills as I can. 7:27 This is kind of wrong. You should still actually test the underbarrels before trashing them to understand how they work..
You can have multiple underbarrel launcher rounds if you use the fully loaded perk. You'll get 2 grenades instead of 1 or 8 rounds instead of 4 with the shotgun (8 in the gun, 0 reserve). If you use overkill and put fully loaded on both with the SAME underbarrel type, you'll only get 3 grenades total so it doesn't stack, but if you use different GLs then they'll both get their extra round. There is one exception to this: if one of the rifles is the AK with explosive underbarrel. It uses a different ammo for some reason, so in that case you'd get a total of 4 explosive grenade launcher rounds.
The most bullshit thing about grenade launchers, imo, is that amped does not affect them and their switch time is annoyingly long.

Thanks for the tips on the differences between the compensator and the muzzle break, I'll have to try a comp on my 357 and Dragonuv. Agreed with the bipod too, I tend to mount my gun on the many obstacles throughout the maps, no need for the bipod and you're a smaller target

Frangible Disabling rounds should have some sort of effect when hitting someone in the arms too, like interrupting or slowing down reload animations. Aiming for the legs is a bad habit, but aiming for the torso but accidentally hitting the arms due to the enemy moving (or just bad hit detection) happens all the time.

Lightweight suppressor is fantastic for Hardcore games when using a gun without a damage drop off (AK, heavier LMGs, Oden, marksmen rifles, etc.).

I found when I use some of your worst attachments (excluding under barrel launchers; haven't ever used one) they're actually very useful to complete some camo challenges, i.e. bi-pod attachment made it easier to complete crouching challenge for an LMG, an AR, a Marksman rifle and an SMG, (to my recollection). Things are way different with this CoD title, and I dig it. Good video, always appreciate your insight, it has helped me be a better player.

Monolithic Suppressor is one of my favorite attachments. It's not perfect but suppression with increased damage range is really tight

The bipod is usually unlocked really early and is one of your few available attachments with no downsides at that point

I feel like the bipod should make is so crouching does nothing but laying down ANYWHERE gives you mounting recoil, so if you lay down it will make your gun have the recoil of if its being mounted on something, also maybe like -ads speed or something.

The fast melee perk is sort of dumb considering not only are there attachments you can add to get a one hit melee, but if you use a throwing knife you melee with a knife which is also a one hit kill.

The only argument I'd make is for the bipod. Like others have said here, there's a difference between camping and playing defensively. Personally I love using it on an LMG and watching a lane on the map. It's less about getting kills and more about cutting off an entire section of the map from the enemy team and controlling the battlefield. Like a youtuber once said, "The enemy team has to respect your entire line of sight or risk their heads."

One underbarrel attachment that I think you're overlooking in this is the 12gauge deputy... it's nice to have something a but more punchy for close range when either you're mag has run dry and you know you're being pushed by a last enemy.. but i guess that's only one real specific instance .. but the 12 gauge at least comes with more than one shot and munitions box refills it too if I recall

I love your breakdowns, even 4 years and some odd months later. That being said, however, I am an avid flash guard user and champion. I play hardcore SnD primarily, and sneak around and notice a lot of enemies near a corner of me bcus of their muzzle and it’s flash. I also have a hard time seeing enemies at long range while shooting bcus of the flash. With the flash guard, I find it easier for me to stay on target if they run. I do notice the velocity difference tho, and it’s an easy adjustment after playing this long. Thank you again for your work towards this series and all the work that you do

I would add the lightweight trigger to this list for all pistols. There have been so many times using the lightweight trigger saved my life because it increases the fire rate cap on the pistols so much.

Recoil Stabilization is how much the gun itself moves along with the sight, it doesn’t have much at all to do with horizontal recoil, attachments that improve stabilization make your gun and sight shake and kick back less so you have a clearer picture. Those attachments are good for people who prefer to see clearer while firing, and also those who already have good aim and are good at judging recoil.

    • @Yohasbing
      @Yohasbing Před 4 lety

Recoil control effects both horizontal and vertical recoil, while stabilization does not.

    • @Yohasbing

Recoil is where your sight moves while sustaining fire, stabilization is how hard your gun shakes and kicks back.

I personally actually use bipod on a lot of my weapons because of that lack of downside. For a lot of engagements it's not super necessary for me to have a lot of recoil control because I have pretty good manual recoil control. It starts to matter more at those longer ranges to help me hit all of my shots and at that point you don't need to be super quick.

If you rock LMGs (I love me some MG34), then the bipod is excellent. Throw on all the stuff that increases ADS speed, a 100 round drum, and a bipod. High ROF and damage melts dudes. Swap the ADS stuff for recoil reduction stuff and you can melt dudes at long range as well.

I've had some success, if you could call it that, with the grenade launchers. They're great for dislodging campers, but they honestly need an extra benefit like reducing recoil, especially since the GP-25 on the AK has a built-in foregrip and they're adding weight to the front of the weapon. I think the devs just played it safe after the noob tube/one man army spam in MW2.
