Kadala curry : • ഇറച്ചി കറിയുടെ അതെTast...
INGREDIENTS :
Soya Chunks - 100 gram
Onions - 1 big
Tomato - 1 big
Ginger - 1 small piece
Garlic - 10 cloves
Green chilli - 2 no’s
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 2 tbsp
Gram masala - 1 tbsp
Fennel seed powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
fenugreek seeds -1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fresh curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Soak soya chunks in hot water for 30 minutes.
Drain the chunks and put them in a bowl.
Squeeze the chunks out of water and keep aside.
Take a pressure cooker
Add Onion, tomato,ginger-garlic - green chilli paste and salt.
Add turmeric powder,Kashmiri red chilli powder,coriander powder,Garam masala & fried fennel seed powder.
Add Soya with water.
Mix together and cooked it for 4-5 whistle.
Heat a pan and add 2 teaspoons of coconut oil.
Add fenugreek seeds and fennel seeds
Add 1/4 portions of sliced onions.
Add fresh curry leaves and coriander leaves .
Add 1 tsp pepper power ad mix it well.
Add cooked soya masala with the water and turn off the stove when the gravy becomes thick.

Turned out to be a tasty dish, for the taste preference of my friend i added chopped coriander leaves after turning off the flame (i didn't have curry leaf here, even if I had that I have to use coriander leaves because it's an essential here), it was good
